Best By 4/25/2020.

A - Clear gold with a slight pink tint, low carbonation, and a graduated creamy white ring of lacing.

S - Crisp funky, tart aroma with twangy Lacto aroma.

T - Moderate lacto twang with a little bit of acidity. Some delicate cranberry with a little bit of blood orange. Some salty presence and lingering twangy lacto with delicate cranberry, and a little bit of cereal grain.

M - Medium body and slightly puckering from the funk, very dry on the tongue while the rest of the mouth is wet.

O - Easy drinking, not my style of beer, but wanted to try it nonetheless.

On tap at Village Tavern in Genseo, NY.

This one pours a light orange-ish color, with a small head, and not much lacing.

This smells like a light cranberry tartness, a bit of salinity, some sour orange, grassiness, citrusy coriander, and a bit of lemon.

Since it's Troegs, this is definitely a bit less gloopy and a bit more user-friendly, with a super crisp flavor to it, and a lighter fruit charater. It's mildly tart, with a light and mild cranberry sweetness, and a citrusy almost sweetness on the back end. It's not very tart at all - more just lemony and refreshing.

This is light bodied, and clean, and very drinkable. It makes me interested in trying some Troegs again.

This is a touch toned down, but it's still a nice little beer.

This beer poured a relatively clear amber color with a moderate head that disappeared very quickly. It has a sweet, yeasty aroma. The taste is bitter, tart and yeasty. A fruity flavor which is predominately apple and some citrus. It tastes like a dry hard cider.

always fun to try new flavors from these guys, a brewery i have been into my whole life it seems. this is pretty robust on the fruit side of things, more juicy than beery in a lot of ways, i dont taste a lot of wheat in here or anything, and the salt element in the gose is quite lite, although the tartness is clean and even refreshing, and everything seems plenty natural in here and all. the nose is citrus for sure, not sure i can immediately call it out as blood orange specifically, but the fruit is here, and the cranberry tang is nice with the clean lactic souring element, really those facets go together very well. the cranberry contributes some acidity too it seems, and has a drying tendency which keeps the orange from making this too sweet, its an intelligent and festive combination of fruits that seems fun for this time of year. the tartness is moderate and carbonation is high, and the fruit is dry to finish, so this is really chuggable, some lemon notes in the sour profile give it additional life as well. i get cherry and raspberry nuance in here too, but its the orange the i taste most. more wheat and salt would be cool, i dont really get coriander either, which i like to taste in gose, but this is a tasty and easy drinking beer thats a little different from what else is out there. light and enjoyable, but nothing earth shattering.

5 oz pour on tap. This is a great winter/holiday gose. The blood orange and cranberry flavors are distinct and work very well together. I like this much better than the Union Craft cranberry/cinnamon gose (and I like that beer, too).

From a 12oz can (best by 3/13/20) into a pint glass. Pours a translucent dark yellow with just a hint of red. Very little head, no lacing. Smells of tart fruit with orange in the bacground. Taste is similar to the smell with an added hit of saltiness. Mouthfeel is fairly smooth. Overall, not a style I'm very familiar with, but this certainly isn't offensive in any way.

Christmas beer present from Mom and Dad Boettinger straight from Troegs in a sample case. I'm not overly familiar with this style, but this hits all the descriptive elements from the brewer. An enjoyable tart ale!

Poured from a 12 oz can into a Dogfish Head tulip

L: Clear golden amber pour with massive fluffy white head. Great retention and lacing.

S: Tart... orange and lemon citrus mixed with cranberry

T.F: Tart and citrusy. Strong lemon and blood orange. Milder cranberry/fruit come in later with the echo of some sweetness. A bit of funk and modest acidity. Faint salt near the finish. Light bodied and well carbonated.

O: A very crushable tart gose. Nice flavor and drinkability.

12 oz bottle poured into glass

clear light orange color with some pinkish hue in there too. foamy white head, steams of carbonation rise from the bottom of the glass. aroma is more orange than cranberry, and mildly sweet. taste balances the aroma with a tart start and fairly short drier finish. body is thin, carbonation is fizzy

Best by 2/1/20, only a few days left on this one

Pours a coppery-orange with two fingers of fluffy white head that sticks around for a while

Aromas of clean lactic funk, lemon tartness, light wheat and cranberries to back it up. Smells like a balanced brew

Taste amplifies the nose here, the blood orange comes through clear, though the cranberries seem more akin to cherries in the taste. It's tart at first then the sweeter side of the citrus takes over towards the end balanced with a bit of salt

Very light and refreshing with the carbonation, but still more body than I expected. Very full for a 4.5 abv, it finishes dry

This one is different from the rest and I really like it. Absolutely sessionable and refreshing, will revisit

L: golden orange with a loose white head fed by a steady stream of small bubbles

S: salt and coriander, very faint orange peel aroma

T: less coriander in the taste than there was in the smell. Salty and tart. Sour orange with a hint of cranberry at the end

F: crisp and tingly, not a lot of body. Goes down easy with a definite orange aftertaste

O: was kind of expecting this to taste like Thanksgiving orange/cranberry sauce, but it doesn't. The coriander is very light, the cranberries are subtle at the end of the swallow. A nice refreshing beer.

Blood Orange Cranberry Tart pours a yellow, reddish color, not much head. Sweet aroma, orange notes. Flavor is sweeter, only very slightly tart, noticeable orange flavors come through. Good body and feel. Overall, a sweeter, and less sour sour beer, but with nice fruit notes.
