Crystal clear amber body; moderate, gently rising carbonation; very thick, dense, and creamy head, rocky and sculpted. Mild pine resin and floral notes. Finely balanced and nuanced flavors; light malt base with hints of biscuit and cracker; dull sweetness; pine resin notes sporting a gentle overall hop bitterness. Medium body; sticky sweetness; soft prickliness on the palate; semi-sweet mouthfeel overall.

Missed it my that much! Per the can's bottom info: "FRESHEST BY 07/28/20". And, yet, what a delicious tasting classic American IPA. At 7.5% ABV, I nearly would consider this a DIPA (in fact, Tröegs' web site calls this an imperial IPA - BA notes update to follow this review). So, for an imperial IPA (and being somewhat past its prime), I still find this to be a stupendous and extremely satisfying beer.

Amber mostly filtered with some very slow rising small bubble carbonation, and topped with three fingers of white head.
It smells like nothing.

Taste is of Noble hops a little bit of tea and Pine but really nothing else.

Light body with light carbonation.

I got this in Asheville North Carolina and I’m drinking a red in California July 29, 2020.

Clear gold appearance with a large white head and good lacing. Aroma of citrus and resinous hops followed by shortbread-like malts. Hops continue to evolve on the palate, generating hints of summer fruit and peaking with a dry, bitter aftertaste. Then there is the after-after taste; after the last sip, when the warming alcohol rushes back in, extending the long lasting finish.

middle to rear palate. pungent, sticky, and hangs. what theyre doing with the tropical fruit offsets, helps balance it out maybe. it has a moderate flavor relative to higher alcohol. i think that it lacks a sense of freshness IPA should have. that with the residual flavor, im not in a hurry to take a second sip. Which makes it a good sipping beer, for sitting by a fire or watching a movie.

16 ou cans. Inexpensive @ $50 case for 16 ou cans. I've had better IPA's but not in this price range. I keep coming back to it since it is local and therefore fresh. Not your "king of hops" IPA just gets the job done. Alcohol level at 7.5% is surprising as it seems like it should be lower. I somehow doubt this beer would age well.

Nice. Clear amber with lots of bubbles and light lacing on top. Nose is surprisingly plentiful considering the bottle was at about 30 degrees. I'm getting sweet citrus and dark candy. since this beer is so cold, taste is a bit muted, but plenty of sweet malt and citrus upfront followed by hoppy bitterness, the right amounts of both, well balanced, though not terribly complex. but maybe when it warms up...

I normally avoid IPAs like the plague, to me it’s like drinking ocean water. This was given to me as a gift, so I was not going to reject it. I must say it’s very good. If you do not like IPAs and are faced with having one, this is one for you. It’s along the lines of Glasstown’s 609 IPA and Palmetto’s Huger St IPA in the since that it’s not in your face Hops. You’ll taste and smell the hops but it’s not overwhelming.

This beer pours a golden, copper color. It is very clear and has a significant head that lasted fairly long. The aroma is a subtle combination of hops and fruit (apple and cherries.) The bitterness overrides any other flavor. I can only vaguely taste hops.

Perpetual IPA pours a copper color, with a nice sized head. Hoppy and citrus aroma. Flavor is big and bold, hop notes, dry body, with a strong citrus finish. Good body and feel. Overall, strong IPA, lots of flavors, bitter and citrus notes.

When poured from a bottle this pale ale has a 1/4 inch lacy head. A light amber clear color with a slight hops and pleasant citrus aroma. When tasting this pale ale it has a mild hoppy flavor that is followed with a refreashing citrus rush that satisfies the taste buds . This fresh flavor has you longing for one more. And with an ABV of 7.5 you want to make it a relaxing lazy evening.
This is a very good blend of IPA. Grab a six pack and enjoy !

Good but not great. Kinda like a Pilsner with strong hops. Definitely needs more malt backbone to balance it out. Crisp and dry with strong grapefruity bitterness. Minimal malt impact.

Had an ice cold one on tap for 8$ at Hershey Amusement Park. Loved it! Picked up a six pack at Sheetz for $10. Went to Breski Beverage in Harrisburg and bought some more. First time there...but I love that place.

Strong start with a good white head...very delicious IPA and 7.5ABV!!!

Decanted from a 12 oz (355 ml) can into a conical pint glass; best by 09/18/19.
A: Pours an ever so slightly hazy, dark golden color (trying to head toward amber) with a two finger, foamy, off-white to wheat colored head, at least a finger of foamy retention, and very sticky rings of foam lacing.
S: Malty. Aromas of caramel, caramel, yeasty goodness, honeysuckle, and pine.
T: Sweet to semisweet. Flavors largely follow the nose, with a double shot of toffee. Light to moderate bitterness beautifully balances with the sweetness and overall flavor pallet.
M: No more than medium bodied with gorgeous carbonation. Drinks very readily; lightly tingling bitterness at the back of consumption.
O: A very drinkable, refreshing American IPA. Really like its unvarnished maltiness.

Pours a translucent copper with two fingers of white foam. Head retention is good. Aroma is piney, dank and herbal hops with a syrupy consistency. Really dense hops, while still allowing the bready, caramely malts to pop through. Flavor profile is dank, herbal, floral, and piney hops with a little bit of hop bite on the back-end. Bready malts add a touch of smoothness across the hops. Mouth feel is medium-thick with a constant crushed-velvet texture. Overall, ripe, syrupy hops add the zing and bite to this beer with subtle malts helping to curtail and keep the beer within balance, although it notably is leaning towards 'heavy hops'.

Served in a 15.5oz Speigalau tulip from a 12oz bottle.

Pours out of the bottle a clear golden color with a two-finger head, a lot of lacing on the glass, smells more lemony than piney, bitter hoppy taste with a rich mouthfeel, bitter piney aftertaste. This is a nice IPA and I would purchase this again.

Light goldish yellow color. There are some light notes of citrus, but still plenty of hops. Decently high ABV makes this a classic IPA, and one of my go-to's.

Look: Clear amber, attractive cream-white head, good lacing.
Smell: Pine, bubblegum, spicy herbal aroma. A bit of sour lemon.
Taste: More pine and fruity bubblegum up front, spicy hop bitterness in the finish. Primarily a spicy pine flavor. A bit of citrus sourness/bitterness, some mango fruitiness. Bitterness and sweetness are well-balanced.
Feel: Light- to medium-bodied with prickly carbonation.
Overall: Well-balanced, nice and piney. A very tasty IPA.

Very syrupy and thick for an IPA, which was a little more than I bargained for. Alcohol is masked well, not a hot beer at all. More hops on the nose than I could actually taste.
