A: Pale yellow brown, like a slightly dingy honey, only slightly hazy. The head is off white and fluffy.

S: Loads of hop aroma, herbal, grassy and grapefruit hints of tangerine peel as well. In the finish there is a little bit of a bread aroma.

T: Hop forward grassy and grapefruit in the front. The bitterness fills in the middle with an earthy feel, and the finish is a touch of bread followed by lingering bitterness. Nice. There is a touch of a spicy note in the finish.

M: Medium in body, carbonation is mid-range. There is a softness to the body, but the finish has a lingering bitterness that is paired with a somewhat dry feel.

O: Overall this is a really nice beer, good and solid, but nothing magnificent. This beer doesn't blow me away, but could definitely be a classic example of the style.

Bottle dated 03/2014

A: Very light golden color with a huge head that settles to about 1/4 inch and stays with great lacing.

Smell: Pine, grapefruit, lemons, pineapple. Its light but very nice.

Taste: A lot of grapefruit and grapefruit peel, pine, lemon. Definite bitter bite that hits you in the back of the mouth and lingers afterwards.

Mouthfeel: very light and dry

Poured from bottle into pint glass. Nice color. A golden amber appearance. Good hoppy and fruity smell. Smells delicious. Also can taste the fruit right off the bat. Not as hoppy as I thought it would be. Has a little bitterness to it. Doesn't last that long. In my opinion, its a great IPA.
