On tap at the Sunset Grill & Tap.

Thick and creamy white lace, tarnished pale yellowish golden hue ... god clarity.

Pale malt aroma and flavor; biscuity ... almost doughy with a herbal and lemon hop twang. Mild palate with a light crispness, very easy to drink. Not a bad blonde at all ... fitting for this hot weather we are having in Boston.

Pours a hazy gold color, with little to no head.

Faint aromas... not unpleasant though. Some dough, spice, and a bit of sweetness.

Taste is crisp, tart, and dry. There is some creamy maltiness. And the finish has a floral hop bitterness.

Mouthfeel is average. Nothing special.

Drinkability is pretty good. This is a somewhat of a boring beer. But it's pleasant, and easy to drink.

Bottle courtesy of eclectic, thanks again.

A - This brew is a true honey color. It wells up a thin white colored head that quickly laces around the glass.

S - beneath the hoppy ale aroma lies the faint hint of apples, very refreshing and inviting

T - the taste is tarter than i had predicted. has a citrus backdrop to its hops and corn? flavors

M - a medium bodies brew that dries quickly with some acidity

D - smoothly drinkable, a good party beer

Appearance - light golden color with a thin white head that persists. Slight haze with lots of carbonation.

Smell - sweet corn, hay-like with slight cabbage. Faint hop gives a slightly flowery/perfumy scent?

Taste - Faint malt with a corn-like quality. Slight papery note.

Mouthfeel - High carbonation gives crispness; dry, bitter hop finish.

Drinkability - Could definitely quaff a few of these while sitting on the beach in the heat of the summer. Refreshing.

Slightly hazed bright yellow colored beer. A quarter inch white headed faded almost instantly. Quickly rising streams of carbonation. Lacing is a rare watery speck.

Light floral and sweet fruit notes. A strange blend of sweet grains. Nothing special in the way of actual aromas, but what is there is a nice blend for the style.

Flavor is a bit on the weak side. Malt presence is the only thing to find. Sweet and bread like. Hops are extremely downplayed at the end. A spice of light pepper grabs a bit, but disappears to rapidly.

Carbonation is in full effect on the mouth. A little bit watery, but nothing to disappointing based on the style.

Very easy to have more then one. This is great to wash down picnic fare. A decent offering in the style. Decent as a beer to bring to a party in the summer.

Drank from a 12 FL. OZ. bottle purchased at Julio's Liquors, Westboro, MA

Poured a slightly hazy, deep golden yellow. The small, bubbly, bright white head quickly faded to a thin film.

The aroma was very subtle initially. Only a faint maltiness was detectable. As the beer warmed the malts (German-style malts) made their presence known.

The taste was crisp, clean and rather citric. Tart and lemony up front. Somewhat malty in the center. The clean, dry-ish finish was slightly sour and a touch hoppy (grassy hops). As the beer warmed, the hoppiness really came out in the finish.

Mouthfeel was creamy, lush and full on the palate with a fine, lively carbonation. Quite impressive for a beer of this style.

Light, refreshing and flavorful, this is a perfect summertime session brew.

Purchased a bottle at Julio's Liquors in Westborough, MA.

A: Moderate gold hue. No head. Slightly hazy. Visibly effervescent.

S: Sweet and clean malt aroma. Cream corn like. Mild aroma overall: clean. Slightly fruity.

T: A well balanced taste here. Balance is towards sweet but it is tempered by some hop bitterness throughout. Some corn like flavors as found in the nose.

MF: Medium body. Creamy and full - almost kind of soapy. Moderately high carbonation. Not dry.

D, notes: I like this beer. Very sessionable thought it is kind of filling. Quite well balanced. Despite the fact that it is an ale has a clean lager character.

12 oz bottle to a pint glass
This beer pours a pale gold to straw color with a pure white head which laces a bit. The smell is light malts with a hint of wheat and light floral hoppiness from the saaz hops. The taste is light hops with a touch light malty base. The beer is nearly as smooth as a lager but retains just enough malty character to make it taste like a true ale. Carbonation is high but right for the style. Drinkability is good this beer is nothing special but provides a good alternative to macro lagers.

Beer pours a clear golden with minimal head. Smells of hops with mild malt, some creamy notes. Tastes very clean, after taste of hops with a spicey character, odd for a cream ale I thought, but tastey. Not my favorite style, but a good beer overall. I was pleasantly suprised, and I could drink a few of these in a night.

Pours a crystal clear straw color with a small white head that dissipated into almost nothingness. The aroma is extraordinarily faint, I don't really pick up anything. At least I don't pick up any negative traits. The taste is of a doughy malt and some grassy hops. Somewhat similar to a Munich lager. No real offputing flavors, though there may be a touch of cooked veggie flavor but it is very light. Th feel is light almost moderate with nice and fizzy carbonation, finishes very neutral. This is a very easy drinking brew

Pours a slightly fogged gold. Nose is a very faint fruit tone with a faint odd metallic edge. Flavor is kind of sweet with a metallic tone that hits on the back of the mouth. Feels good on the mouth and it's a nice drinker too. I could just do without the whole metallic side of it.

A: The beer is slightly hazy straw yellow in color and has a high amount of carbonation. It poured with a finger high dense white head that died down but consistently left a thin head covering the surface.
S: There are aromas of grainy malt plus earthy and floral yeast in the nose.
T: The beer is rather malty and has some hints of sweetness and bitterness.
M: It feels light-bodied and clean on the palate with a high amount of carbonation.
O: This beer is extremely easy to drink and very sessionable. It’s a good selection for a hot summer day.

poured into a pint glass from a bottle

slightly hazy golden color with not much head and zero lace

I get literally no aroma from this at all

taste is almost non existent, maybe a bit of malt and a touch of hops

mouthfeel is crispy and dry

overall, it looks like a beer and if feels like a beer, but it doesn't smell or taste like a beer.

I have another one of these that I will try later, and if it's different, I will edit my review

Had this one in the fridge for a while and felt like having something light last night with dinner, so I gave this one a try. The pour was rather none eventful, coming out a bright golden yellow with a good clarity to it. Very nice carbonation profile, with lots of bubbles rippling up toward the surface throughout the session. A nice sized head of white fizzy foam came over the top and settled rather quickly before finally leaving behind just a bit of lace across the top. No appreciable side glass lace.

The aroma was rather normal, with light cereal grains and hints of banana and pear that mingled in and out with a slight bitterness to it. The flavor followed suit as well, being the classic, overly carbonation blond ale. Nothing really stand out about it. Very crisp, clean, and refreshing, with a nice lingering taste of light banana flavor. There was no alcohol to speak of, and it was plenty light enough to easily throw down more then one of it.

Overall, this was not bad, nothing really extraordinary, but still not bad at all. I would take one in a pinch, but would not really go out of my way to find it. Still, a solid choice and one that you really cannot go wrong with.

another extra from wolfsblood

A- poured a golden color as you would expect, with an almost white head that built up a decent amount and fell into a thin film with some decent lacing as well.

S- light pils malt scents with a clean crisp character to it

T- solidly malty, clean pils character. hops keep it from being sweet but not really a flavor component in and of themselves

M- medium body, pretty high carbonation,

d- probably have many of these, not bad in and of itself, but ide prolly go for soemthign different

A: Light straw color with orange and peach tones. Small white head that dissipates quickly, leaving minimal lacing.

S: Grass and straw. Floral hops and some light apple. Aroma is very faint.

T: Grass and grains with a touch of citrus. Sweet carmel malt. There is a fruity element to this beer, tastes like fresh apples.

M: Moderate carbonation, light bodied.

D: This beer was a bit disappointing. Definitely a step up from your typical macro lager, but lacks any depth of flavor.

Pours a golden color that appeared to have an appearance of sediment floating around. I must confess to having had a few beers before that, so maybe my mind was screwing with me. An average-sized white head that faded to nothing quickly.

The overwhelming note in the nose was honey. Didn't pick up on much else. Taste was the same - honey. No bitterness to speak of. Perhaps subtle notes of light fruit.

The mouthfeel is where I got really disappointed. I found it to be overly thin and, to be honest, watery. Massive letdown. Carbonation was mild.

Drinkability was good. There's nothing here to stop you from sessioning. Very easy to drink.

poured into a pilsner glass while at poolside last evening during a cookout which was perfect for this selection. Not one of my first choices but this style has entices me every so often. color was cloudy yellow like that first morning piss. Head was thin and broke into a little ring that maintained throughout, spotty lacing not coating. Mouthfeel was not what i imagined for this style , alittle more carbonation and less smooth than I expected. taste was also a bit of a disappointment , not bad , but was expecting more. This to me is like the good looking girl with the so-so personality. Would pair well with a light fair. Not bad , not great. Forgettable but not regretable.

Drank this to go along with pizza consumed at the Fat Cat Pie Company in Nowalk, Connecticut.

Appearance is a light golden color, with a white head, not too thick.

Smell is of vanilla, honey, light and easy on the nose.

Taste is smooth, kinda sweet, not too much hops or barley present on the palate.

MF is good, an enjoyable, slightly sweet taste, but not too sweet.

Drinkability is good, a good match for the delicious pizza. As a lighter beer, it is a good beer to start off the night with and then work your way towards stronger beers later in the evening.

12 oz brown bottle poured into standard pint glass.
Poured a straw colored yellow with a thick white head that left a little lace but faded pretty quickly.
Citrus was the strongest aroma.
The taste was citrusy or lemony as well.
The mouthfeel was sort of a bubbly and carbonated but it went down pretty easy.
I do not generally grab a blond ale but I enjoyed this one as it was very refreshing on a hot summer night.
