Dark brown molasses like color with a lot of particulate. Chocolate brown, foamy head with trace amounts of lacing. Aroma is espresso and dark chocolate. Very rich. Hints of raisins and nutmeg. Toasted malt and espresso with dark chocolate in the flavor. Earthy and bittersweet. A very good beer overall.

330ml bottle poured into a sniffer.

Opaque black in color, fairly good foamy tan head builds up and dissipates with just some retention to bubble sheet on the surface along with some lacing patch and spot on the glass-side.

Nice espresso aroma blending with dark and creamy chocolate dominate all over, roasted and bready malt dwell inside the inner layer as well as hop with a slight grapefruit and spice while that so aromatic espresso coffee is still eminent with really a slight astringency. That is truly a kill scent for coffee lovers.

The taste is just wow. It blows me away in each sip. Kicked off with a significantly sweetness and breadiness from malt, however, it is not here to stay when espresso coffee, dark chocolate, and roasted profile begin to take over in the middle to balance and long-lastingly dominates the taste buds until the finish that also provides a slight astringency and some bitterness as an aftertaste.

The body is medium to rather bold with smooth mouthfeel and some chewiness through the palate, medium carbonation that is enough to carry all the things well, dry finish.

Oh I could drink this all day all night, no words to describe how great it is. Just a must try and definitely worthy.

12 oz bottle. Pours near black, thin tan head fades leaving some spotty lace. Coffee and dark chocolate in the aroma. Lots of coffee and dark chocolate flavor, falls a litte flat in the finish but overall very tasty. Mouthfeel on thin side but slick. Solid coffee stout.

From bottle, pours a dark brown with heaps of white floaties, it has a good light brown head that disapates to a small layer. Aroma coffee, chocolate, cocoa. Taste follows the nose, this is very nicely done. Very beautiful.

330ml bottle into 350ml beer glass.

Poured a very dark brown/black with a descent light brown head which stuck around for a bit and left a film. Some lacing.

Nose is interesting with lots of coffee and a slight woody aroma. A little chocolate.

Palate is nice bit not overly complex - espresso dominates with a woody flavour coming through. A little chocolate.

Mouth is nice. Quite full.

I enjoyed this beer. Not overly complex and a strange woody thing going on that i"m undecided on but it's enjoyable.

Recommended.

Appearance: Black body with a super dense head that’s dark tan, creamy and would make an awesome pillow to sleep on. The lacing is just a thick.
Smell: cocoa nibs, coffee, brown sugar, caramel and mild butter.
Taste: Roasted coffee beans, cocoa butter, slightly bitter and just damned good to drink.
Mouthfeel: Dry, medium bodied and smooth.
Overall: This is one awesome espresso stout, one of the best I’ve tried so far, if you see it don’t pass it up.
