After a long day brewery touring at The Lost Abbey and Stone, stopped here for a last call and some food.
Nice little place. It was Saturday night but we got seated right away which was great. Good crowd though, people playing pool and darts.
The service was good and friendly, and extremely prompt. I think our food only took about 10 minutes, and the beer was out in a minute or two tops.
Tap selection is only OK. The permanent taps are nothing to write home about, but they have 7 or 8 rotating taps that were impressive. Got The Abyss on tap, probably not the best beer to finish the night with, but didn't figure I'd be finding it again anytime soon. Bottle list is amazing. Tons of Belgians, a large selection of beer from the British Isles, and some pretty rare American brews.
Food was excellent. I had the cottage pie, and my friends had the fish and chips and the irish stew. All of us agreed that it was about the best bar/pub food we'd had.
Prices are pretty much the going rate. Some of the taps are a bit pricey, but only if you're getting something rare. Bottle prices are about what you would expect as well.
If you're up in the North County visiting Stone or whatever else, I highly recommend stopping here.

After visiting Rip Current, we went and had dinner at Churchill's. Very good food (fish and chips) and I had a Cellarmaker Brown which was good. Not too busy for a Friday. Staff was friendly and efficient. Good tap list of a mix of local and other breweries. Worth a visit.

Love stopping by here when I come down to check out some North SD Breweries or when I have an engagement at Lost Abbey or Stone. The special events have insanely delicious beers and usually really good food to compliment said beers. However, on any given day the tap list and food are solid.

I finally got around to rating this joint. I grew up 15 minutes away, and it has always been a rad place to drink. Great vibe, quality place, good service, and world class selection.

Had my first Pliney here so that says something. The beer selection is world class. When The Lost Abbey makes an exclusive beer for your bar you know this is a great place. I ordered some appetizers and they were pretty good. You really go here for the amazing craft beer.
