Milton LCBO Outlet #1 (Milton, Ontario, Canada)
April 4, 2013
The beer pours a golden-red colour with a very thin tan coloured ring for a cap. There is definitely the citrusy notes of the cascade hops, as well as some weak caramel notes. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carbonation. The flavour doesn't live up to the aroma. Some weak hoppy grapefruit notes mixed in with the infamous dishsoap notes. Better than their flagship IPA, but still 'crafty' as opposed to 'craft'

Pours a copper light brown, with almost no carbonation, no noteworthy aroma to speak of. Taste is alright for a macro brewery, good try Labbatt's!

Blonde beer with some carbonation and a small head. Smell of citrus with bread notes and some peppery aromas. Taste of citrus with sweet malts and a noticeable bitterness. From the current (end of 2015/start of 2016) hop ales lineup, I think it's the best one, the most bitter one too.

Alexander Keith's Cascade Hop Ale
The look of it. A golden amber color to it. No head. Medium carbonation
The smell of it; light hops
The taste of it; Very light. Not very balanced on the taste. A bit disappointing here. Maybe more hops I guess. It just need a bit more work on it and it would be a avery good beer.
So overall would I recommend it ? No, for me there is not enough to recommend this beer. It needed to be a bit more work on this beer. It just missing something
