Fairly small bar at the Oceanfront here in VB. A nice change up from the party scene bars that dominate Atlantic Ave. They will normally have the usual macros on tap along with two or three micros/domestic. I've had Aventinus, Alpha King, and Harpoon IPA all here on tap. They have a nice selction of bottled beer but the prices are straight up ridiculous. ($10 for 12oz Delerium?!?!). Food is good beer drinking food with healthy portions of quality grub. Atmosphere is OK..better when a band plays i've heard, but the bartenders all are very friendly and will strike up a conversation with you in a heartbeat (thanks for the free shot, pal). Nothing spectacular here, but one of the few places in VB to sit and have a good beer.

A great chill place as long as you're not here during a weekend night, then the bands play and you're f'd if you want a chill night. They have a cooler of about 50 beers and the bartender told me they usually have about 20 more but the truck couldn't make it. Unfortunately, they keep all the beers in the cooler, so a nice quasi-warm stout was being chilled at 35 degrees. Also, I ordered a wheat beer and the guy walked away w/o giving me a glass. I am not a snob, but a glass would've been nice for a wheat beer (he gave me one when I asked for it). The prices are a little steep for the beer, but you're on the beach. The food is a little steep but worth the money - the wings are the shit. NOTE: If you're a beer geek and/or hate smokey environments, avoid this place. I don't smoke but can live with it a bar, but everyone in there was smoking and it just sits because it is a very claustrophobic venue.
