22oz bottle at 41 F poured into a tulip. Bottle code is 13514416. First had this on tap at a restaurant on May 16th and liked it a lot. Bought a bottle the first time I saw it.

This is a very pretty IPA. Pours a nice clear golden copper with a nice big off-white head that fades slowly, with lots of nice, fine carbonation. Smell is muted, but nice. Floral, honeysuckle, some citrus.

Taste is surprisingly bitter up front, with a long bitter finish. Highlights of mild honeysuckle sweetness, but strong piney or grapefruit bitter finish.

Mouthfeel is dry and light. Overall, this is a very good beer.

Bottled on 4/20/17. 12oz bottle poured into a tulip. Pours golden with a subtle haze; small white head that fades leaving nice retention and sticky lacing. The aromas are citrus forward along with some bready malts. Lots of orange along with some grapefruit. Crackers are there. The flavors basically follow the nose. Lots of orange leading the way. Some grapefruit and pine in the mix. More fresh bread and crackers along with some hints of caramel. Malts do their thing. Moderate bitterness. Finishes juicy for the most part. Alcohol goes unnoticed. Mouthfeel is nice. It's medium-bodied with moderate to active carbonation. It's slightly fluffy and very smooth.

This is a solid IPA. I feel that the mosaic hops get lost and don't shine, but it's still enjoyable. It's not flashy or anything crazy, but it's not bad at all.

Appearance: Pours a hazy amber with a magnificent head; excellent stickage and copious lacing

Smell: Tropical fruit and a touch of biscuit; sugary and floral

Taste: Bright tropical fruit flavors open first, with papaya, mango and pineapple; some pithy citrus and onion tones, in the middle; biscuity malt underneath but this is all about the hops

Mouthfeel: Medium body with moderate carbonation

Overall: A nice IPA; doesn't break any new ground but it does what it does very well

Thanks, mabermud, for the opportunity

Poured into an imperial nonic a dull light to medium golden with a lacey half finger bone white head atop that left some decent lacing as it settled into a frothy mass.Overripe tropical fruits stand out most in the nose along with a little fresh cut grass,a dryer crisp malt base in the nose.A little light in the feel and malt heft keeps this beer from being grear,as it's very good in my opinion.Tropical fruits are the main component flavor-wise with a dryer biscuit malt base.

Presentation: It was poured from a brown 1 pint, 6 oz bottle into a tulip glass. The label lists the abv at 6.5% abv and there is a brief description of the beer.

Appearance: The body has a light golden color with good clarity (the second glass was very hazy) and some active carbonation. Sitting on top is a thick just off white head which settles down to a wispy thin film covering that laces up the edge of the glass. Some of which hangs on the sides of the glass.

Smell: The aroma is a little light overall but it has very nice juicy and fruity hops over pale bready maltiness. Pineapple and canned fruit cocktail notes stand out.

Taste / Palate: The flavor is packed with sweet juicy hops backed by supportive light bready malt sweetness. It has notes of pineapple juice with canned fruit cocktail (peaches, pears, green grapes, about 3 cherries per can and sugar water syrup) and a splash of lemony citrus. This turns to citrusy hop bitterness in the finish which lingers for just a short time. I like that it doesn't linger too long. It just helps to remind me that this is an IPA and that I should take another sip. The body and carbonation feel just right and very drinkable.

L: brilliant gold column permeated by rapidly rising bubbles blanketed by a 2" cream colored sticky and lacy foam collar with good retention.

S: hop fruit aromas, tropical fruit, pineapple, citrus and hints of mint and pine.

T: Citrus, tropical fruit and papaya lead to an assertive bitter with some hop based astringency.

F: very creamy smooth, medium bodied with medium, very soft carbonation

O: full flavored, very drinkable beer.

Poured into tulip; clear golden yellow-orange with a fluffy white head that leaves nice chunky, sticky lacing.
Smells of nice Mosaic hops; pine, stonefruit and citrus. Some more citrus rind and floral.
Taste follows nose, although not as strong as the smell; no date on the bottle, so I'm not sure how fresh this one is. There's a decent amount of hop flavor though.
Mouthfeel is clean, wet and medium-thin bodied.
Overall, very tasty and drinkable. Mosaic are one of my favorite hops, and they're a big reason I picked this one up. If only Elysian would date their bottles...I'd love to find out if this is fresh or not. If not, I'd love to have it fresh, it would be outstanding.

Elysian continues to impress. This comes in somewhere near the middle of my top ten IPAs. I would put it just behind the Space Dust IPA that they do. Beautiful honey/straw color, smooth and medium bodied with a blast of hops from start to finish.
