Pours dark black with a nice tan head. Leaves minimal lacing as it is consumed. The smell is a pleasant cinnamon, cocoa, roasted malt and for me hints of vanilla. It tastes like chocolate fudge, vanilla, cloves and massive amounts of cinnamon. It is less sweet than the smell led me to believe and it finishes nicely with a bitterness and spiciness that seems to come directly from the cinnamon but with hints of bitter chocolate. Not getting any pumpkin from this beer but I like it anyway.

Picked this bomber up on a recent trip to Arizona. A package date of 7/20/15 poured into a twelve ounce tulip glass.

Look- Pours a dark brown with a small amount of tan foam.

Smell- Cinnamon heavy and not much else.

Taste- Once again cinnamon forward with some dark roast.

Feel- Tingly sensation from the heavy cinnamon presence.

Overall- A bit too one dimensional with all the cinnamon for me. Not a drain pour, but nothing spectacular. If you like chewing on a cinnamon stick, this ones for you.

Poured from a 22oz bomber into a speiglau stout glass.

Look is pitch black with red highlights on the edges with a tan frothy head.

Real pumpkin bread aroma. Lots of pumpkin spice with a dark malt.

Tastes like pumpkin bread, but feels a little thin.

Pours opaque, dark brown in color with 1/2 inch head. Taste is clove, cinnamon, cocoa, and brown sugar. Very very good beer. This may be my favorite pumpkin beer I have tried this season. Excellent roastiness and balance.

I was very excited to try this beer, the idea of a pumpkin stout intrigued me. The beer is pitch black with a foamy head that thins out put laced my mug very nicely. The beer hits the nose with a strong cinnamon aroma before we get that traditional stout smell. The beer follows the nose pretty well, a strong flavor of those pumpkin spices before the nice creamy stout. A great pumpkin beer, I will be getting this one again.

22oz bottle poured into a snifter

A- pours a jet black color with a small creamy light-tan head that reduces to a thin film floating on top

S- lots of cinnamon notes up from that actually resemble a spiced apple cider. Underlying aromas of charred malt, chocolate & some vegetal notes

T- chocolaty malt base gives some light charred notes with plenty of dark chocolate. Notes of cinnamon and pumpkin flesh hit mid-palate, the finish brings some charred malt with more cinnamon on the linger

M- medium body with moderate-low carbonation leads to a foamy mouthfeel and finish

O- the cinnamon compliments the base stout well, and the actually pumpkin is surprisingly noticeable and not overpowered by the base beer
