Very Good
Salt & SeedSalt & Seed
Notes: Watermelon Gose. Keep the salt, hold the seeds: this gose uses 100% natural watermelon and kosher salt. It's made with an even split of pale and malted white wheat, with a dash of acid malt. Bittered with Huell Melon and Northern Brewer hops, Salt & Seed provides a peacefully punchy pucker for your palate.

Pint on tap at Lucky's in Melbourne Florida.
Pale amber body with visible carbonation despite the hazy body.
Bready, fruity and suggestively tart d c st cxdxr xx cyst sdaaroma.
Moderately tart and lightly salty flavor that does not have a very convincing watermelon note but that is well balanced and easy drinking.

Salt and Seed pours a copper color, with a very small head. Big sour aroma, hints of watermelon. Flavor is pretty sour and salty, with a finish of refreshing watermelon. Good body and feel. Overall, sour and salty, makes it a great Gose, with a very refreshing finish. Mellow fruit flavors, not overdone.

From a twelve ounce brown bottle, this is a hazy gold color. The aroma is grainy and grassy. The taste is a bit tart, with some salt and brine. Flavorful and enjoyable.

12 ounce bottle - $2.79 at Total Wine & More in Alpharetta, Georgia.

Appearance: Pours a straw-hued body, a little bit of haze, with a thin, thinning, immediately gone, white head.

Smell: Well salted watermelon, with touches of rind, meat and seed.

Taste: Ample watermelon with a good salt lick to the thing. Nice lactic tartness, acidic. Some underlying hints accounting for barley, wheat, yeast, but, really it's just the watermelon and salt, or salt & seed, as the label proclaims.

Mouthfeel: Medium-light body. Medium-plus carbonation.

Overall: Fine.

Experience by November 6th 2019.

Looks straw yellow, clear, small but retentive head of foam.

Smells of watermelon, salt, medium degree of tartness.

Watermelon up front, salt is right there , sensing other fruit. Tartness appropriate.

Light body with lively carbonation.

Good Gose.
