I poured this into a pint glass.
The appearance was a hazy burnt orange color with a one finger white foamy head that dissipated within about a minute. There was some light lacing sticking around the sides of the glass.
The smell had some citrus with a nice shake up of sweet caramel mixing nicely
The taste was mainly sweet but had a decent undercurrent of bitter citrus.
The mouthfeel was somewhat sharp on my tongue but wasn't too sharp as the caramel helped to balance a little bit.
Overall, this was in my opinion, a well crafted APA by a well respected brewery. If I could, it would be a regular in my fridge but my budget keeps me back just a bit.
Cheers, Steve
