Contact HazeContact Haze
Notes: The day the world stood still and Elysian brewed a Hazy IPA. Rules were broken to bring you Contact Haze, a tangled chemistry of mild haze, low bitterness, and an explosion of hop aroma. Bursts of bright raspberry, currant, citrus, guava, and passionfruit, with a slight floral note.

Tasting notes:
Not just typical citrus and tropical notes, we use a unique combination of punchy hops. An aroma and flavor explosion of bright raspberry, currant, citrus, guava, and passion fruit. Preserve the haze. Keep cold.

Malts: Pale Ale Malt, Flaked Barley, and Oat Malt.
Hops: El Dorado, Mosaic, Southern Passion, Sabro, Citra, and Sultana.

S" has that IPA but really its a bit weak, headed in the right direction but doesnt quite make it
T: IPA - ish but abit watery
M standart

In the sea of Hazy IPA's this one isn't bad. Kind of forgettable in a way with it's light balanced flavor. Body is quite nice was able to pound it quickly. Some say it's a good summer beer and I could see that. Overall give it a try!

12 oz can purchased today but less than 2 weeks from its BB date stamp. Light bodied, light colouration, and light flavor for an IPA, this beer is more mild APA than an IPA. Mildly bitter overall, it hits the tongue rather sweet.
Ignoring style, as have the marketers of this "Hazy IPA", this has an attractive, fruity aroma and flavor profile. The hops are mild enough to allow a light breadiness to appear alongside them.
Feel. Overly thin body with medium carbonation and a touch of dryness.

12oz can poured into Duvel tulip. 29JUL20 printed on bottom of can. So this has another month or 2 in it. Picked up at the grocery store as part of a $10 sixer mixer.

Appearance - Hazy golden yellow body with a now almost flat head. Heck if I remember how big it was on first pour. A swirl quickly develops a 1 finger slightly offwhite fine head with decent lacing and weak to decent stick. 3.75

Smell - Citrus rind. Wet grass. 4

Taste - Citrus rind. Grassy hop. 4

Mouthfeel - I mean heck, I guess I'm 6 beers in but it's citrus rind and grassy hop. What do you want? 4

Overall - CITRUS RIND AND HOP. Stop making things complicated. 4

Another winner from Elysian. Look pours a, wait for it, hazy golden color with nice fine suds on top. Smell of grapefruit and star fruit. Feel is very smooth and silky. Taste is of a nice balance of fruit and malt. Damn, this is good.

Contact Haze pours a bright yellow color, with a long lasting, lacing head. Dry, fruity aroma. Flavor is slightly sweet, with hints of tropical fruits, with a dry, mild bitter finish. Goody body and feel. Overall, its a nice hazy. not as sweet as others, and a bit on the drier and bitter side.

Creepy ass can. Pours very pale yellow, semi-hazey. Smells big time of fruit salad. The guava is a punch in the mouth. Violent fruit character tenderizes and tantalizes the taste buds in a symphonic quarrel. 10/10 would drink again.
