22oz bomber poured into a pint

A- A slightly cloudy deep sunset-orange with a reddish twinge in the center. A nice rocky light tan head that retains better than average, with average lacing.

S- Piney, with a light sweet-grass second order whif every once in a while.

T- Amazing piney hop from beginning to end, slight oily finish, malt is cracker like, but not very strong, but it works well with the very piney hop. A real treat.

M- A little lighter than i would expect the body is not very firm. A little alcohol twang, very clean finish.

O- Excellent IPA offering with a nice piney twist. Cheers!

22 oz. Bomber

Pours a hazy dark golden orange color, pretty nice carbonation, with a pretty nice thick/creamy one-finger plus off-white head, which also leaves some pretty nice creamy sticky lacing behind. The nose is hoppy, slight malt note, with some citrus. The taste is hoppy, slightly malty, with some citrus, very slight pine note. Medium body, ABV hidden pretty well, with a nice little dry/bitter finish. Overall, a pretty tasty brew.

Slightly cloudy, orange colored. Creamy head with solid retention and lacing. The aroma is light caramel malt, passion fruit, and some orange. Flavor is grapefruit, spruce, honey, yeast, orange zest, and hints of fruit. A bittersweet, resinous, hop forward beer with a bit of a bite. Overall quite good.

Another great hoppy beer from Elysian. Beer has nice cloud like head that retains very well. The taste is is awesome with a very strong citrus taste and a unique after taste the I would attribute to the New Zealand hops. Overall a solid IPA

22 oz bottle. No bottling info

Pours a hazy golden body with a fluff white head. Lots of lacing. Good retention.

Smell is prominent citrus. Lots of grapefruit and orange peel. Maybe a tiny whiff of malt too

Taste follows. Massive citrus. Red grapefruit is very prominent. Great bitterness!

Almost crisp Slightly under carbonated.

Love the bitterness of this one ! A little pricey though...

Had on tap at Trolley Tp House; this is a very nice IPA - hoppy yet malty - not citrusy this one - def worth trying out in the can - a pretty amber color and good head

Pleasant mild aroma leads into a sharp, biting palate. Amber colored with adequate creamy sand colored head. Malt and hops equally represent in the aroma, but hops come on full bore in the taste. Astringent , tingly palate, leaves your mouth alive.

Good orange pour, oily hops make for a difficult head formation but it struggles to amass a 2/5" off white head to compliment the glow beneath it. Aroma seemed like it was chalk full of Nelson hops.

Taste was a good pairing, the Nelson hops and the pale honey and caramel malts did well together, never a heavy malt presence, but it does create a sticky dank edge all over it. Does seem to not age well compared to C hops, but that isn't really anything new, proprietary hops in ipas are an even greater need to drink fresh.

Bottles have not been as good as freshly tapped keg, but again, no surprises there. Easy my favorite Elysian beer.
