Watch out shipyard pumpkin head, this west coast sweet pumpkin is ready to fight. Most delicious sweet pumpkin beer I've had.

Just the mere taste of this beer is absolutely delectable. I've had a ton of pumpkin beers in my lifetime but this one is my absolute favorite. It's heavy with spices but it has a really great balance of sweetness too. If you're upset with most pumpkin beers you've tried this one will not disappoint.

Poured from 12 oz bottle into pint glass. Poured a murky amber with clean cream head. Hints of cinnamon, clove, and allspice on the nose. Definite spices in the flavor, cinnamon dominate. Smooth and sweet. Decent pumpkin ale.

Definite aromas and flavors of spices, especially cinnamon. Not particularly "pumpkiny". Descent, but not special.

Poured a brown, almost black body with minimal head and has a sweet pumpkin aroma than other notes of beer. Beer has a lighter mouth feel and there are notes of spice and hops but really a sweet pumpkin/cinnamon type feel and it is even a tad hot and dry in the finish.

With a beautiful amber color, you will encounter mild warm spices like cinnamon, nutmeg and some ginger, along with a great mouthfeel. The pumpkin must have been eaten up by the yeasts during the brewing process. At least it’s not so bitter to the point that I can barely taste what’s in the beer. Interestingly, the aroma is a lot more pronounced with the warm spices than the flavor. This is a very easy, relaxed version of the pumpkin beers you’re used to. After you rest up with this beer, I highly recommend the Pumpkin Down by Balast Point Brewery and the Pumpkin Ale from Lakefront Brewery in Wisconsin.

Had this on a guest tap at Third Wheel Brewing in St. Peters, MO. Pours a beautiful pumpkin orange with a thin cream colored head. Smells of cinnamon and clove. This has every taste I'm looking for in a pumpkin ale - nutmeg, clove, cinnamon and allspice, with a little ginger too. Will definitely drink again.

Wise label art, dig the brew's title too.
Poured from a bomber into a pint glass.

Nice smoke from the bottle.
A groovy pumpkin orange, hazy, super thin head, with just a hint of lacing.

Strong scent of malty Pumpkin-nutmeg, and gram crackers.
Perhaps a wee bit O' Ginger & brown sugar as well.

Taste follows the nose, creamy, spicy pumpkin, not too sweet or bubbly. A haunting hint of throat burn after a while, which is tasty as well.

It is what it is, a quite tasty, even excellent change of pace, but before long, this time of year, with Pumpkin this and Pumpkin that ...

I don't see any bottle date.

Appearance: The body is a medium orange-brown color with a ton of suspended solids. It doesn't look very appetizing with all the sediment. It has a nice short white head that has a creamy texture and good head retention.

Aroma: It has a moderate pumpkin pie spice aroma which smells mostly of allspice and ginger.

Taste: There is a light toast flavor to the beer with mostly allspice and cinnamon flavors. In the realm of similarly flavored pumpkin items this one is closer to pumpkin bread or lebkuchen.

Mouthfeel: It has a nice smooth texture with a light-to-medium body. There's a touch of bitterness from the spices at the end.

Overall: It's an alright beer if you can get past all the sediment floating around inside. I probably wouldn't get it again compared to the numerous better pumpkin ales on the market but if I were in a restaurant with a limited selection I would be happy to drink it again. I would recommend at least buying a single and giving it a shot. It has a decent body and some nice flavor.

Pours a burnt orange with a 2" head into a crystal mug. Smells like I am carving a pumpkin with an apple pie baking in the kitchen. Tastes like pumpkin, spices, mild hop finish. Sweet specialty malts accentuate the pumpkin with caramel. Feels crisp and smooth almost like a lager, not chewy at all. Not too sweet, highly quaffable. This is not one of those pumpkin candle attempts. Very pumpkiny. This is a superior craft pumpkin ale. If you like pumpkin libations I would highly recommend. This is a 2017 release.
