Pretty, hazy amber color, unflitered. Barely off-white head with exceptionally fine lace. Good persistence.
Smell is clean, hoppy, dried apricots. Evocative of DFH90. (Which is praise.)
Taste is very pure, hoppy and apricots. Very good indeed. Some sweetness but more bitterness than sweet.
Mouthfeel is excellent. Not overcarbonated.
Finish is lovely, well integrated. The bitterness has good length, but is Just a couple spoonfuls harsher than I prefer.
Damn fine IPA. Happily drink it any time. I'd like to try this next to the Victory DirtWolf, and DFH90, to see if this may in fact be better..

Picked up a single from Craft Beer Hop Stop 10/1/16 for $1.99. Bottled on 04JUL16.

Beer poured golden with a nice white head that left lacing rings with each sip consumed.

Nose was citrus centric with a hint of tropical fruits.

Taste was grapefruit forward with a light touch of tropical fruit finishing with a decent pine resin.

Feel is light to medium bodied and fairly smooth and refreshing.

Overall a solid IPA that is definitely worthy of a repeat visit!

Very enjoyable IPA with plenty of juicy citrus (oranges, tangerines, grapefruit) along with some light pine notes.

More hop flavored than hugely bitter. Not that it doesn't have a bit of pine like bitterness on the finish. Malt does not impede the hops or exert an influence but seems to set a nice light canvas for the hops flavors to shine on.

Nice enjoyable IPA.

6-pack of 12oz bottles bought from Whole Foods in Brooklyn, NY. Bottled on 10/19, drank on 11/22.

I'm the world's biggest fan of west coast style IPAs- I'm from New England and much prefer the juicy and floral style that populates the great North East to the dense, resin-y style of the West Coast. However, there are always exceptions. Lots of orange blossom water and grapefruit pith on the nose, with sweet malt and dank mango. Almost all of the aroma of this beer carries over to the palate and it isn't shy- this beer is not particularly nuanced but that's not a knock. It's a heavy hitter of very tasty proportions.

12oz bottle date 10/25.

Pours hazy gold with a moderate head and retention. Aromatics are dank and fruity with mango, peach, and weed. Medium bodied and crispish. Grapefruit pith with tropical fruit on the palate. A firm bitterness with very light malt. Finishes with a lingering hop bite and bitterness.

A nice and dry modern day IPA. Good stuff.

Pours a gorgeous slightly rusty sun orange with a finger of off-white foam.

Juicy citrus and tropical fruit notes accompany a lingering piney freshness and a subtle sweet caramel malt note.

Piney/herbal hop flavor comes out more in flavor but the orange, grapefruit, and mango fruit notes give a nice balance of juiciness.

Medium-bodied, medium carbonation, juicy, slightly dank.

Overall, a very delicious beer and I'm glad they are now distributing in Chicago as I most certainly will be picking this up more often.

Aroma is citrus/fruit, floral and slightly perfumed. The flavor is citrus/fruit, earthy/biscuit malts, hops/hop resin, spices, slight sugar and a bitter/heat in the finish.

Best IPA I've had in weeks. The bottle is 29 days old, not bad, and it's bveen in my fridge for 10 days or so.

It's pretty, all full of lace and almost clear yellow. The aroma is pronounced hops and malts - a nice noseful. Th taste is syrupy and hoppy. It is obviously a double - the sweetness had me checking the ABV first thing. It's up there.

The aftertaste is thick and fulfilling. This nice IPA is highly recommended for the big AIPA lover (if you aren't one, this would be a good place to start).

Poured into a 13 oz Weyerbacher tulip glass bottled on 10/25/16. Pours a very dark yellow with a 2 finger sticky white head that leaves behind excellent lace and has excellent retention.

Smell is floral hops, mango, guava, pine, and grapefruit.

Taste follows loads of tropical fruit, pine, a little biscuit, and a healthy shot of grapefruit in the finish.

Mouthfeel is a solid medium, plenty of life, maybe a little dry, and excellent drinkability for 8.2% ABV.

Overall this is a great beer and at $10.99 a six pack, a very good value. Welcome to NH, glad to have you here.

A: Pours a relatively clear pale to medium golden honey in color with moderate amounts of active visible carbonation rising from the bottom of the glass and faint amber + yellow highlights. The beer has a three finger tall dense sudsy foamy off-white head that slowly reduces to a medium sized finger thick cap in the center surrounded by a large patch of thick film covering the remainder of the surface of the beer and a thick ring at the edges of the glass. Significant amounts of lacing are observed.

S: Moderate aromas of tropical/passionfruit, citrus/grapefruit pith, and citrus/orange hops over the top of light aromas of caramel malts.

T: Upfront there are moderate flavors of caramel + cereal grain malts with a light to moderate amount of caramel sweetness. That is followed by moderate to strong flavors of hops - tropical/passionfruit, citrus/grapefruit pith, and citrus/orange. The hops contribute a moderate amount of lingering bitterness.

M: Medium to slightly heavier than medium bodied with moderate amounts of carbonation. Initially crisp with a light amount of dryness and alcohol warming in the finish.

O: Overall this beer is pretty easy to drink hiding the 8.2% ABV really well. Not quite as sweet as I was expecting and the combination of hop flavors + aromas work well. Definitely one to grab again.

Citrusy smell, hoppy, fairly clear. Bold flavor. A bit strong of an aftertaste. Not too bitter. This one came free as part of a promo at City Tap Room DC.

6-pack from Whole Foods for $11.99.

L: A golden orange color with strong but moderate white head, and sticky lacing. Loooks like an ideal IPA.

S: Melon, mango, peach, lemon, raspberry, the faintest hint of grapefruit, if you really want to search for it. Definitely some roasty malt and pine in the end.

T: Bitter and sweet at once, at first like apricot and plum, then orange, mango, and lime, with a backbone of pine and roasty malty bittersweet resin, layered with dark fruit and raspberry. Aftertaste is certainly not defined. Dark fruit and roast alternate crazily.

F: Fuller, and more savory than one's usual IPA. I'd say this has a perfect level of malt.

O: Definitely a #1. What a cocky name, but they certainly live up to it. Elysian beer for those who belong to the world of greatness.

Poured from a 12 oz. bottle into an IPA glass.

Appearance: Pours a clear golden orange with a moderate amount of bubbles. Big two finger white head that settles into a thin creamy patch.

Smell: A juicy and dank hop forward aroma with a scent of citrus fruit and pine. Upfront citrus hop aroma of orange peel, grapefruit, mango, tangerine, and lemon with pineapple. Earthy hop hints of pine resin and grass. Background malt hints of caramel, grains, and cracker with yeast. A very nice juicy aroma.

Taste: Like it smells, a juicy and earthy hop driven taste with notes of citrus fruit and pine. Big juicy citrus hop notes of grapefruit, orange peel, tangerine, mango, and lemon along with some pineapple. Earthy hop notes of pine resin and grass. Backing malt notes of caramel, cracker, and grains along with some yeast. A pretty good taste.

Mouthfeel: Medium to full bodied with a moderate amount of bubbles. Juicy, oily, and drying.

Overall: A really good West Coast style IPA. Good citrus and pine hop flavor.

Beautiful brew: lemon yellow body, very clear, topped by a sizeable fluffy snow white head with good retention.

Very nice hoppy aroma: citrus, tropical, and dank notes. Grapefruit pulp, leafy herb, and pineapple, along with a touch of pepper.

Flavor follows: really fresh, green, herbal hoppiness, with a touch of pepper and pineapple notes. Sweet biscuity pale malt. Citra and Amarillo really at their finest.

Lively and very smooth.

This is a shockingly good IPA!

Bottle date of 11/2014: poured into a small chalice, color is copper, opaque, brighter white head, some small lacing on the glass.

Smell is moderate strong blend of citrus fruit and earthy bittersness; impressively fresh for a beer that is nearing 2 years old.

Flavor is more emphatic sense of the aroma: hoppy, citrus, more fruit - less rind, then some lighter earthy/grassy flavors; malt is moderate with some biscuit and wheat, not sweet.

Mouthfeel is also very good for such an advanced age IPA, moderate carbonation good bitterness and lingering flavor on the sides of the tongue and cheeks.

I should note I did not see the bottling date until just before opening - I'll chalk that up to the place of purchase - but overall this was a very good IPA that seems to have held up well with time.

Finally got around to trying this one!! Beautiful bright orange/amber with a slight haze. Creamy fluffy slighlty yellow head that sticks. Sweet and sugary!! Nice bit of pine, oily hops and diverse bits of Citrus and Berry, balanced by sweet toasted white bread. Solid medium body with a nice sticky resinous mouth feel, without being too overly bitter. Very bright, glowing, healthy IPA

At Henry's. First beer of my first GABF. Poured half full in an oversized snifter this brew is hazy with a dark golden color with a definite orange tint.
Aroma is sticky west coast hops. Citrus, grass, herbal and a strong resin quality all in play. Taste is hop forward with big hop resin and some bitter rind/citrus taste. I can't say much about the malt. It's kind of sweet. Has a sticky mouthfeel. Fairly long longer. Overall a Big ipa. A good sticky sipper.

Space Dust has a medium, somewhat creamy, white head, a mostly clear, bubbly, orange-gold appearance, and lots of lacing splotches left behind, on the glass. The aroma is of piney hop resin, and the flavor is of sweet white bread, white bread crust, hop oils, lots of bitterness, which is subdued, really, for an ale rated at 73 IBU. Mouthfeel is high medium, and Space Dust finishes dry and surprisingly drinkable, for an 8.2% alcohol beer. RJT

A deep clear gold with a smear of white head that leaves sheets of small sticky lacing. The aroma is big pine hops and a little caramel sweetness. The taste is much the same but with just a bit more oomph. The body is lighter with a slightly dry finish and just a hint of carbonation.

As a hop-lover I was very satisfied. All the elements of a great tasting DIPA are here and the fact that I paid $11.99 for a 6-pack made it all the better. Grapefruit, piney goodness with a bite! Outstanding beer at a great price! And I love the artwork!

Not realizing this was a DIPA (8.2) the first taste was "whoa" ! After reading the bottle and recalibrating my palate - and converting to 'sip' approach, it tasted remarkable. Resinous, citrusy, with moderate bitterness. Chinook and Amarillo in a very nice mix.
