The first time this ipa blessed my lips was the day I realized that all other forms of beer are bad. It's golden aromas graciously foam at the top. The taste is like an angel's piss if you could imagine... The color is like that of Ho-Oh's beak from Pokemon gold, both attractive and glowing. Taste great out the bottle or in a glass. Overall, not a beer you want to miss out on. Space Dust is truly out of this world.

A double IPA -- obviously, it's hoppy. But it's not overpowering and has a clean and well-balanced medium body. Some notes that I could detect were lemon, honey, and tangy fruits. I really enjoyed this beer. Yes, I'd drink it again any day.

A lot of Elysian's offerings I normally approve of. This one falls a little short for some reason. I get that 'metallic' smell which must be the hop varieties. I like the high ABV but the taste just seems stagnant. I'd still buy it, but I've been corrupted by the Mosaic hops!

Served into a 4 oz (118 ml) flight glass at The Emerald Rose in Billerica, Massachusetts.
A: Pours a virtually clear, dark golden color with a robust head, outstanding retention, and solid rings of lacing.
S: A very mild, almost lemon meringue nose and honey sweetness.
T: Semisweet with, again, lemon meringue flavor offset by very mild, light piney bitterness. Subtle and complex, albeit mild.
M: Light bodied with excellent carbonation. Very drinkable.
O: Really a delicious, mild, very drinkable ECIPA. Like a stylized, liquid lemon meringue pie. That may not sound so great, but this brew is.

Poured out of the bottle into a pint glass, the beer carries a nice golden color with hints of copper. It is slightly hazy, but clear for the most part. A thin, white lace that forms the head is rather weak, but stays consistent throughout the life of the beer.

As is the case with most DIPAs, this brew has a strong hip aroma, along with citrus, orange, and some earthy malts. The most prominent scents are the hops. The taste mostly follows-in-trace with one difference. A semi-sweet orange flavor is shadowed by pineapples. The orange is subtle and is definitely a combination of multiple citrus fruits. This is followed by a very robust bitterness that is complemented by malts; the bitterness lingers for a while. The carbonation is rather high as well.

Moreover, when the beer fully settled on my palate, it struck me as slightly oily (maybe it’s just me). But, overall, this beer is a great DIPA. I personally don’t venture often into the IPA realm to begin with, but I do like them and have had quite a few before. I appreciate this beer’s brusque manner and definitely enjoy its relative drinkability. The Space Dust IPA is a must-buy. It’s availability at the Naval Exchange just made my deployment much more enjoyable!

Best beer ever... This or Widmer's Alchemy Ale.. A pinch hoppy but leans towards a citrus beverage.

Pours a bit hazy, a bit murky, copper with a medium head that leaves a little lace. Nose has a little dankess and some pine and citrus, but is not as big as I was expecting. Taste is a bit on the earthy side, with mostly pine and not much bright flavor from citrus or other fruits. Alcohol presence is about what you'd expect from an 8.2% beer. Overall, a decent beer but not as good as I was expecting.
