12oz can of Elysian Superfuzz, experience by 09Nov23. Served in a pint glass it's pale orange color, mostly clear, with little head. Flavor has a citrusy edge to it, but not a bitter hoppy one. More like citrus zest. The bitterness is that of citrus oil rather than alpha acid. And like a blood orange, it's not too sweet. It's not overly fruit flavored, and not overly complex in any other way either. I do think 6.4% ABV is probably more than this needed to be and I kind of wish the whole beer had been brought down to let more delicate flavors come through.

12oz can. Stamp on bottom reads 'EXPERIENCE BY : 13SEP23' (stamp is not centered).
Orange pale gold colored body, cloudy with suspended particles. Two fingers of off white head. Leaves behind partial walls of lacing.
Aroma of orange tinged malt with citrus and floral hops.
Taste is citrus, floral, and pine resin hops with toasted malts, with a extra layer of orange. Gets close to a orange soda. Gets more bitter in the aftertaste.
Medium mouth feel, with some syrup texture. Dry finish from the bitterness. Very good carbonation.
The extra orange is not out of balance with the hops and malts. The extra orange provides an emphasis of citrus. Definite bitterness note.

Higher ibu than I thought it would have but that's not bad. You get the blood orange flavor but it's not overpowering which is great. Pours with very little head and lacing. Smell is more of hops than orange which is surprising. It's a surprise if you were drinking this blind. I quite enjoy this beer - nice change from hazy and IPAs without becoming a fruit beer.

can into glass
Thick and creamy, ivory head with some rockiness. Medium dark, cloudy orange with some amber and golden highlights. Moderate, orange marmalade aroma, with a bit of medium toasted malt. Moderate, orange peel with a fair bit of a malt base, for the flavor. It has a moderate hop bite that lasts, and is medium bodied.

Nice opaque dark orange body and solid cream colored head. Nose brings sweet malt, grassy hops, and citrus. Blood orange shows up in the flavor but isn't overpowering. Fruit tinged pale ale isn't normally my bag but this isn't bad for the style.

Pours a hazy orange. Medium foam. Citrus aroma. Bitter hop body. Bitter citrus flavors. No sweetness at all. Tastes more like an IPA. Might be better with an orange slice in it.

12 Oz can poured into a pint glass. BB date August 8 2022
Pours an almost clear golden colored body with a white head. Lots of visible carbonation noted. Some retention. Several rings of lacing
Overall scent is pretty faint. I'm getting orange Fanta or some kind of orange candy. Some type of hop note too. Maybe Cascade hops?
Taste follows with a nice bitter hop bite
Lively carbonation is appropriate for the style.
Overall; Not bad. Enjoyed the bitter taste.
