Pours out a very hazy orange with large chunks of floaters visible. A finger and a half of a white head made of large bubbles left very nice lacing on the glass.

The smell was a punch of citrus fruits and a whole lot of orange odors.

The taste was a tasty pithy orange taste. More of the bitter portion of the fruit than the sweet. Picking up some alcohol warming at the very tail end.

Mouth was light and had a crisp finish.

This is a very orange beer on the bitter side of the fruit. Seems kind of strange to pick up alcohol warming on this beer as it is a 6.4% but I was not the only one. My wife was getting the same. Overall I will say I liked the Superfuzz. Good pale ale with the addition of some tasty orange side notes.

A bright orange pour, very cloudy, almost murky. Faint head which vanishes without a trace. Aroma is a tangy kool-aid citrus with an odd dankish cast to it. The taste is a standard mid-grade craft APA with little to recommend above a multitude of others. Probably would be a bit better on a hot summer's afternoon, but not exactly our style. The low ABV would appeal to some. We're still exploring Elysian's offerings.

Not much blood orange to speak of. A slightly organish color and hints of fruit sweetness in the taste. Also maybe a little fruit in the aroma as well, otherwise a pretty standard drinking APA on the more balanced end of style with mild hopping and some fullness in the body. Solid drinking but nothing to write home about.
Thanks Bry.

12 ounce bottle into pint glass, no bottle dating. Pours fairly hazy/cloudy golden orange/amber color color with a 1-2 finger dense and rocky off white head with great retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lasts. Nice desne soapy lacing clings down the glass, with a moderate amount of streaming carbonation retaining the cap. Fantastic appearance. Aromas of big blood orange, grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, peach, mango, lemon zest, orange peel, light pepper/pine, honey, toasted bread, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of citrus/tropical/fruity hops, blood orange, and moderate bready malt notes; with great strength. Taste of big blood orange, grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, peach, mango, lemon zest, orange peel, light pepper, pine, honey, toasted bread, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Light-moderate pine/citrus peel/grassy/spicy bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of blood orange, grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, peach, mango, lemon/orange peel, pepper, pine, honey, toasted bread, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Very nice complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/tropical/fruity hops, blood orange, and moderate bready malt flavors; with a nice malt/bitterness balance. Slight lingering hop/fruit astringency through the glass, but not overwhelming. Light-moderate dryness from bitterness, increasing through the glass. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, moderately creamy/bready/grainy/sticky, and lightly resinous/rindy balanced mouthfeel that is great. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 6.4%. Overall this is a very nice fruited American pale ale. All around nice complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/tropical/fruity hops, blood orange, and moderate bready malt flavors; very smooth, easy, and quite refreshing to drink; even with the increasing bitter/drying finish. Great vibrant/juicy fruit and hop flavors; with a nice balancing malt backbone. A very enjoyable offering, and spot on style example.
