Went in on a Sunday afternoon to try some Elysian beers. Atmosphere was pretty good - high ceilings, lots of booths, music wasn't overly loud or anything offensive. Right away, however, I could tell service was going to be an issue. Our waiter looked like he just rolled out of bed, with his scruffy clothes and eyes almost closed... the other employees were no exception. We each ordered a sampler of their basic beers, which arrived on a small plank with a piece of paper indicating which was which. No explanation of the beers at all. One of the beers was supposed to be the Jasmine IPA, but apparently the tap ended after my pour, so my brother was given the Great Pumpkin without being asked. We had to flag the waiter down for another sampler of their "different beers"... when they finally came, they both had a Great Pumpkin in them... 2nd time for my brother! Had to remind the waiter for waters a couple of times. He was pretty much just plain rude; all the employees were really just hanging out and chatting when not delivering food.

Oh well. The beers were good, but service so lax I couldn't see myself returning next time I'm in the city.

Went here after the Sounders game to grab a brew before heading up north. Decently busy with a good vibe going on...but that was quickly squashed by the multiple jerks we encountered who worked there. Mediocre beer. Avoid.

Being from Seattle ive been to this place a few times. Beer is mediocre and so is the food. Don't bother going if the Seahawks or Sounders are playing, you wont get in. Its overpriced for the beer but you're paying fpr the location, I guess.

I came in here not long after they'd sold to AB INBev and that kind of tainted my experience. It shouldn't have but my mind couldn't help feeling a bit resentful.

There were lots of beers in a cooler for to-go sales and a big restaurant feel to the place (Capitol Hill location). Something about the place was sterile and I guess another thing that rubbed me wrong was the liquor on display too. I want a brewery, not a bar, when I visit a brewery or one of its satellites.

Still, the beers here tasted pretty good and the service was fine. Beer selection varied and there were some unique offerings I wouldn't just find in a store. Worth a visit, I suppose.
