Very neutral aroma & taste, Slight lemon taste at first sip. Sessionable especially on a summer's day. I like it.

This beer pours a crystal clear pale golden color with a two finger, creamy bright white head. Retention is above average and there are sticky, hanging patches of lacing left all over the glass.
Smell is crackery and doughy malts along with floral and grassy hops. There is also a hint of sweet fruitiness.
Taste is all malt with barely any of the hop flavors present in the smell bar a touch of grassiness. Ordinary bordering on dull.
Feel is light and smooth with a moderately dry finish.
Overall this beer is decent and easy drinkinh. I'm not too well versed with the kölsch style, but I definitely prefer the Sierra Nevada and Empire versions to this one. There is just not enough flavor present.

12 oz. bottle poured into a pilsner glass.
Pours Bright gold and very clear. The two inch white head didn't last long and diminished to a delicate cap with thin bars of lacing that is being generated by a constant stream of bubbles (this didn't stop until the glass was empty). This one looks great and is rather lively in the glass.
Aromas of yeast with white grape and a sweet smelling grainy note make up a nose that is subtle but nice. The taste is light and clean. It starts grainy with a light fruity sweetness, lemon being the one flavor that stands out, and moves to finish that is dry and clean. As with the nose there isn't an abundance coming through but what is there, is nice. The body is on the high side of light. Carbonation is medium to high giving a crispness to an otherwise smooth feel. When it warms I do get a small bit of chalkiness.
This is my first Kolsch so I can't say that this is a good one, it seems a lot like a pilsner to me. That being said, it is very drinkable. Light and refreshing It does seem to be mostly within the guidelines for style.
I will say this is a pretty good beer.

Very pale and clear, this looks like an apple cider, except for the moderate head and the ample miniature spots on the glass.
Clean pale malt nose. Attractive and accurate.
Lightly grainy. Sweet flavor and a touch of alcohol. For a Kölsch, this is rather full bodied but with a lower effervescence. The aftertaste is brief and reminiscent of a Märzen.

Like kolsch a lot. This one just not worth buying. Had out of a can couldn't see how it looked or poured. It was dry with a medium hop and other than that quite tasteless.

Crystal clear, no head. Faint squeeze of lemon in the taste. On the dry side. Light carbonation, no body.

On tap taken home in a growler (grrrrrrr!!!) Served cold in a Kolsch glass, come on people.
Appearance: Crystal clear with a very pale gold color. Extremely fine bubbles make up the head.
Nose: Malty, wheat, bright hop aroma, kinda buttery (diacetyl; for all you homebrewers out there boil the shit out of your lightly kilned malts like Pilsner), slightly fruity.
Taste: Hop whip crack crispness when the glass was cold but has bellowed to a low rumble of hop up front with a slight malty backbone. Very light bodies and has excellent drinkability (good thing because I have a growler of it), medium bitter finish with no warming alcohols or off flavors.
