Bold, but easy drinking. Body is a nice amber color with a medium head. Bitey, yet smooth and drinkable, and doesn't get too heavy if you drink more than one or two like many similar beers.

Not overly hoppy, full flavored, hints of caramel, above average bitterness but not too bitter. Mass market beer most similar to in my opinion is New Castle brown ale. Label says Vienna style lager, but tastes more like an English brown ale to me.

Tastes great at a ball game or after a round of golf.

Tried to come up with a word to describe this beer, and all I could conjure up was, "meh."

Draft served with dinner at SoHo Burger Bar in Buffalo.
Served in a standard pint glass. Clear, amber color with a short white head. Thin lacing and good retention.
Aroma is quite mild, grainy and malty, not a lot of hops.
Light grainy flavor but pretty simple. I guess I was expecting more complexity or flavor.
Smooth, dry finish, easy to drink.

Enjoyed with a light dinner, still had taste without being overpowering.
