Very nice gold color with a fluffy white head that hangs around for a while and leaves some nice lace on the side.

The aroma is mostly bananas and cloves.

Medium bodied, very pleasant malt & yeast flavor. Somewhat fruity - banana(?) with a little clove and vanilla. Slight hops flavor mostly in the aftertaste, smooth refreshing, very nice.

Not really sweet, but almost a "desert" beer. Excellent.

On tap

Pours with a murky amber/yellow body, very little light penetration

Smell is malty, very strong smell of yeast, strong esters

Taste is refreshing, very easy to drink. Taste of malt and a yeasty aftertaste as it goes down, although not a bad session beer
Very prominant sweet esters, bubblegum sweetness with a dry finish

Easy going down, not a bad wheat beer

Golden color, cloudy. Few amount of bubble rising up. Thin head.

Banana, vanilla beans, bready, slight citrus.

Banana, vanilla, a little lemony. Sweet, bready, cookie dough. Finish is a little tart, dry, crisp. Body is medium-light, refreshing, dry, carbonation is moderate.

It's good. A little dull.

1 pint, 0.9 oz bottle poured into a Weizen glass.

A = Cloudy golden, large white head of foam and medium and large bubbles, pretty good retention.

S = Far too light scented, smells that do come through are light lemon, slight hops, very, very light yeast smells.

T = Tastes like a mixture of 2/3 Bud with 1/3 hefe-weizen. Very little taste (not surprising given how light the smell was), but the fact that it really tastes a lot like a macro lager is a big surprise. I expected it to taste like a very light hefe, but mostly it just has very light malt and hops flavors with almost no yeast or wheat tastes, no bananas, no esters. A big let down.

M = Light to light-medium bodied, little too flat, very little mouthcoating.

D = This is not really bad, but it is not what I was expecting from a hefe. It was mostly just a drinkable but uninspired beer. Would not recommend it, but on a hot day it might be okay if nothing else were available.

Pours pale orange with large dense head with excellent retention, patchy lacing. Aroma is lemony clove, not much more.

Taste is mild and fruity yeasty clove, a bit sourish, it seems that flvaour is slightly muted, if compared to other Hefeweizens. Mouthfeel is medium with prickly carbonation.

Although the beer is a bit better than average, I would say it is one of the worst Erdinger brews. Maybe it seems so because of the high expections one has before drinking this famous beer...

A: Pours a hazy yellowish orange color with a small white foam head that lasts for a short time before dissipating. No real lacing.

S: Some mild hints of clove, coriander, banana, wheat and earthyness. Nothing really stands out.

T: Similar to the scent. Starts off slightly spicy with the clove and coriander hitting the palate first. The banana can be tasted faintly in the middle and it finishes with a moist damp wheat taste.

M: Sort of thin with not enough carbonation. Leaves an earthy taste on the palate.

O: Not my favorite of Hefe's, but it was alright. Would not search this one out again but I would drink it again.

Tall 1 pint 0.9oz brown glass bottle with a tan label and pry-off cap.
Pale and cloudy straw/sun golden body. Large white head that holds well and leaves great looking lace.
Delicious sweet malty scent with white bread and honey with abit of spice.
Mild sweet malt again with honey and mild spice. Refreshing and good. Short lived aftertaste of wheat.
Medium body and very little coating.
Highly drinkable, refreshing and mild. This will make a nice summer beer.

A good example of a hefe-weiss. On tap, poured a nice thick white head with lots of bubbles. It was golden yellow, nice thickness, mine even had some yeast floaters in it, which is a good thing. Lots of bubbles, the head left quickly. Noticed the big banana taste more so than others in this style. The fruitness and bubbles seemed drown out the doughy flavor I like. Overall, very drinkable and refreshing. The place even served it in the brewery glass. I still think Uncle Otto's is tops in this style.

Nice yellow/gold, light haze, frothy persistent egg-white head.
Aroma of some grainy malt.... tropical fruits (pineapple?).
Flavour of malt, wheat. Not much spice compared to others. touch of hop at the end.
Not a bad drop. I'm tasting this in parallel with Weihenstephan and Schofferhofer. It's got an edge on the latter, but the former is the clear winner on the day.

Pour to a hazy, golden color with a white head that dissipates quickly. It left minimal lacing. I was expecting a clovey, banana aroma, but I didn’t get it. I got a grain-like aroma and that is that. The flavor is lightly fruity, with a slight wheat flavor. It is light bodied, smooth and easy drinking; this is the best quality of this beer. This one was a big let down.
