Weizen is a refreshing, unfiltered beer with a characteristically dense foam. The tones of banana, cloves, a slight hint of nectarines can be found in the aroma and flavour. Its quality is evident from many awards, from both domestic and foreign tasting competitions, which Weizen receives annually. After all, which of the Czech beers can boast such a prestigious title as "The Best Beer in the World" from the World Beer Awards in London?
Weizen je osvěžující nefiltrované pivo s charakteristickou hustou pěnou. V aroma vůni i chuti lze objevovat tóny banánu, hřebíčku, lehký náznak nektarinek.

Poured out of a 16.9 oz. bottle into one of my weizen glasses, this beer pours a somewhat cloudy/hazy light to medium, bright golden color with a nice white head that's about an inch thick when first poured that settles to a solid 1/4 inch thick along w/ lots of streams of bubbles fairly rapidly and continually rising to the beer's surface w/ just a bit of lacing. Aromas of some bready, biscuity malts along w/ some hints of banana and clove along w/ a bit of bubblegum. A very similar taste, w/ the aforementioned bready malts, some banana and clove notes, and a slight hint of bubblegum. A nice flavor profile overall. Has a crisp, also smooth, frothy, light to medium bodied mouthfeel with moderate carbonation. Has a clean finish. Easy to drink in the way one wants a beer of this type to be.

Purchased at Albert, Pilsen, in September 2023 and drunk a week later in Sechsen, Bavaria, as our Germany trip wound down.
L: Cloudy but bright, tropical fruit juice yellow. Standard hefeweizen Fluffy white head. No carbonation was seen.
S: Massive hit of banana candy with mild cloves, apricots, and peaches.
T: Exactly per the nose. Finishes sweet, with retronasal cloves dominating after the swallow.
M: full and smooth. 4
O: This is a very nice, very fruity Hefe.
Cheers!

Solid beer. Very bright and not overly sweet like many American examples. Feel falls a little thin. Certainly revisitable but there are better import examples.

A: The beer is clear yellow in color and has a moderate amount of visible carbonation. It poured with a quarter finger high white head that died down but never completely faded away and also left specks of bubbles down the sides of the glass.
S: Moderate aromas of banana-like yeast are present in the taste.
T: The taste follows the smell and has flavors of bananas from the yeast.
M: It feels light- to medium-bodied on the palate and has a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This beer is easy to drink, but the smell and taste seem to be a little one dimensional.

De color dorado, con un dedo de espuma de buena retención. De cuerpo y carbonatación media. Aroma a lúpulo, frutas y especias. En boca la sensación es cremosa y el sabor es dulce.

Bought at a supermarket in Olomouc (Moravia, Czech Republic). Half liter bottle poured into a Pilsener glass.
-Usual Hefe Weizen colour and aspect: pale yellow colour, huge foam head and carbonation seen. Also traces of more dense liquid.
-Citrics and molten bananas
-Hefe weizen taste but fairly watery
-Sweet banana after taste
It is a good Hefe Weizen

500 ml bottle, my wife bought this one for me in Prague. Typical hefeweizen appearance, hazy golden colour, large white head. Aroma is also typical h.w.: strong notes of cloves, banana and citrus - nice. Flavour is more citrussy than some German h.w.s, cloves too, fairly light bodied, could have been more complex. Not bad though.

De Cervezasdiferentes. En copa de hefe de Bavaria. Jugando a The Medium. Weizen aguada y algo insulsa en la que, si, hay algo de las notas esperadas en el estilo, pero la falta de cuerpo no le pega en absoluto
