Had this beer in London, was quite delicious with it's malty, chocolatey notes. Was already few beers deep when enjoying it, passed out half way through, woke up in middle of the night to slam what wasn't spilled on my shirt and must say what a delicious beer before heading back to sleep.

I tried a bottle of Fuller's London Porter at the Conrad Dubai. It poured a nearly opaque dark with off white head that is not leaving any lace. The scent had some slight roast and earth. The taste was evenly balanced and very easy to drink. There was some sweetness and touch of earth. The mouthfeel is medium in body with smooth carbonation. Overall this was a solid sessionnable porter.

Full, chocately, roast-coffee porter with not too much sweetness. The best porter I´ve had so far.

Looks like a porter, Taste follows nose, but with a lot more bang. Sweet Toffee, coffee, chocolate, raisins, prunes, toasty and roasty. Low carbonation, just on the thin side of medium body, really exceptional beer.

Poured into a teku pint. Back label says Best Before: 04 APR 17

A- Pours a mostly opaque dark brown color with a 1/4 inch tan head that retains a bit before becoming a thick ring around the edge of the glass and a half sheet of sheer surface foam. Resilient lacing leaves tiny specs behind.

S- Lovely nose of chocolaty dark roast malts and an overall biscuity sweetness. Also some notes of caramel and coffee. Hint of raisin.

T- Flavor follows suit with the line between roasty bitter and biscuity sweet being ridden near perfectly making it so incredibly drinkable. Mild hop bitterness is there to round things out. More chocolate, coffee and caramel notes.

M- Standard porter feel with medium carbonation and a body leaning toward the fuller side.

O- This is easily the best English Porter I've ever had. So tasty and balanced, it's obvious why this is a benchmark that all other porters aspire toward.
