Shared 500 ml bottle, November 2019. Golden colour, white head. Aroma of malts and toffee. Rich malty flavour, toffee and caramel, hints of sultanas. Decent beer.

Bottle conditioned. Golden amber with a dense creamy head.
Light orange citrus. A mildly sour aroma which reminds me of my over ripe fruit bowl. Barley water and Fuller's marmalade yeast.
Fruity flavour. Alcohol is apparent. Demi-sec. Taste of banana fudge.
Medium carbonation. Quite sticky on the lips.
An unusually complex Pale Ale which grew on me.

The colour is amber-gold, the liquid is clear. The beer pours with a fizzing sound. The two-finger head is white and compact; it sinks down to a thick lid.
The smell is smooth and balanced with a distinct note of apricots that I guess comes from the Fuller’s house yeast. Some floral notes, hints of butterscotch and ripe bananas.
The taste is bitter-sweet with passing ripe fruits, lemon toffee, clean slowly growing bitterness, ripe bananas and a hint of alcohol. Medium body. Growing clean sweetness in the aftertaste, quite a lot of hot alcohol and mixed exotic fruits. Clean medium to strong bitterness. The finish got clean alcohol and sweet orange candy.
The carbonation is strong, the mid-sized bubbles are sharp and long-lived. The liquid is rather thin.
Quite an odd beer with hot alcohol and strong carbonation. I guess it would be better off served from a cask.
