Featuring a touch of real Wisconsin honey, Leinenkugel's Honey Weiss is a golden-hued traditional American weiss beer inspired by a classic German style. It's traditionally garnished with a lemon wedge for added citrus aroma that perfectly complements the sweet, subtle flavors of the beer.

Bottle purchased in a Leinie's Explorer Pack (variety box) from BevMo Cypress.
A: Rambunctious head fizzles up instantly and dies back down within minutes. White foam with large bubbles. Ale is filtered and clear, the color a very light yellow.
S: Grainy, almost corny, with a mild honey sweetness.
T: Tastes like a macro-lager sweetened with honey. Moderate bitterness, though it seems more to come from the alcohol than any hops. Not particularly distasteful; good compared to mass market beer, but little resemblance to a wheat craft beer.
M: Light body with somewhat high carbonation, quite appopriate for the style, though clashes somewhat with the flavor profile.
D: While a poor example of what a "honey weiss" should taste like, this is quite drinkable. I could probably drink a few of these at a party or something instead of a whatever light.
