A- poured a transparent water yellowish color with a frothy white head. little lacing.

S- just alil sweet malt (maybe alil help from the honey). not alot going on.

T- just how it smells. really bland and watery. nothing special.

M- light bodied. decent carbonation.

D- let's just say i'm having one that my aunt left over and i'll never have again.

Overall- this beer is as bland as bud. i've said it before and i'll say it whatever amount of times that the only thing good coming out of leinenkugel is the sunset wheat.

A: True to its character as a filtered wheat beer, it has a golden yellow color with descent head and good lacing.

S: Sweet grass fields in summer sunshine also sporting light yeast notes.

T: Sweet honey taste true to its style with floral hop notes in the back and slightly bittering at the end. The aftertaste is of very clean wheat and long lasting honey.

M/D: Not to light and not to heavy of a feel. The head is creamy and the brew doesn't leave your mouth super dry. A superb thirst quencher and good drinkability.

12 oz bottle poured into pilsner glass.

Appearance: Crystal clear golden with thick white head that dissipates to thin layer. Some lacing present on the sides. This is really filtered. Looks much like the fizzy yellow US crap.

Smell: Very mild wheat-like and yeast, but smells mostly clean, too clean...like a lager. Strange.

Taste: Very light wheat taste. My guess is there is not a large % wheat in here. Strange lingering vegetable aftertaste. Not much else going on.

Mouthfeel: Light to medium body. Lots of carbonation.

Drinkability: This is what the beer was obviously made to do. Very drinkable and clean, too much so.

Very pale, little head which dissipates immediately.

Not much smell to it at all.

Taste's light, but no honey. There's a hint of vegetables--broccoli. Bizarre, really. Not great.

Decent mouthfeel. Best thing about this beer. It's pretty full-bodied.

Not very drinkable, but would do in a pinch.

Hmmm...I guess this is meant to be an adverturesome beer for the summertime masses, I mean it is a "honey weiss bier" according to the label so that makes it darn near foreign!

Actually, this beer may have wheat and honey but their distinctive traits have been strategically removed during the brewing process, what is left is a gold beer with a light head, a mild unoffending taste and aroma with a hint of lemon and sweetness. The beer goes down smooth without offending anyone. I guess this is a "bier" meant to be drunk when the temperature hits 85 and your cooler is empty of everything else.
