There's nothing particularly offensive about this beer, though nothing remarkable either. For the most part, it's just a sweeter tasting wheat beer. It's the kind of beer you'd describe to your friends as "having a great personality."

Looked mostly golden in my glass. Smell was sweet but not too strong. Taste was similar. I didn't really notice any honey flavors, just some sweeter tastes. Not much fruit taste in this either.

It was okay, I'd drink it again. But I probably won't go out and buy it myself.

12 oz. bottle into glass pint.

$7.49 / 6-pk.

A: Bright straw body topped with a huge rocky white head to moderate retention leaving behind a heavy lace and creamy cover.

S: Sweet corn aroma with hints of green apple and distant grain. No hop aroma to speak of, and diverts heavily from the normal hefeweizen aromas I would expect from the style.

T: Sweet biscuit backbone with hints of corn and mellow fruit character. Very little hop flavor leading to a very clean finish. Very simple flavor profile, and a bit boring.

M: Medium body and moderate carbonation. Rounded smoothness with just the slightest carbonic bite.

D: Excellent session selection based solely on flavor accessibility, ABV, and mouthfeel. Goes down smooth and clean and has just enough flavor to enjoy the process.

O: Solid summer beer, and good stepping stone to more flavorful selections.

A golden pour with a thick head. Has a funky beer smell with a watered down flavor. It is over carbonated with a tangy mouth feel. Like most Leinenkugel's not a great beer.

I was served this beer in a plastic cup at U.S. Cellular Field. Go Sox!

A: hazy, wheat-colored, abundant, frothy white head that falls into a thick cap with good lacing.

S: lemon zest, a hint of fruity yeast funk, and of course, honey.

T: this beer pretty much tasted just like it smells. There is not a lot of complexity to this beer, just cold refreshment.

M: very light-bodied, somewhat slick, moderate carbonation.

D: great lawnmower beer, and goes well with the polish sausage and grilled onions at the Cell.

A: True to its character as a filtered wheat beer, it has a golden yellow color with descent head and good lacing.

S: Sweet grass fields in summer sunshine also sporting light yeast notes.

T: Sweet honey taste true to its style with floral hop notes in the back and slightly bittering at the end. The aftertaste is of very clean wheat and long lasting honey.

M/D: Not to light and not to heavy of a feel. The head is creamy and the brew doesn't leave your mouth super dry. A superb thirst quencher and good drinkability.
