12 ounce bottle into bicentennial Mason jar.
A: Nice copper body with a two finger white head that dissipates down to a nice sheen (not charlie). Bits of lacing here and there.
S: Very malty. Caramel. Definitely smells more like a red than an amber ale. The very slightest hint of floral hops.
T: Munich, Pale, and Cluster malts dominate. Then the spicy (red) Oktoberfest-like hops kick in. Cascade, Mt. Hood, and Hallertau according to their website. A very red tasting brew similar to Sam Adams Irish Red but sweeter, less dry, and less crisp. A refreshing brew nonetheless.
M: Pretty nice light feel. It would be great on an early hot and humid September day.
D: Very drinkable. I used to swear by Leinenkugel's back in college days. Unfortunately many of the liquor stores have pushed its price pretty high because of micro brew popularity; and I would bet it's costing the same from the suppliers!!!

This is pretty watery and bland...I got this for a good deal and decided to give it a try......I would not buy it again. Some of Leiny's stuff is good.....not this one.

12 oz bottle. Weak malt aroma. Pours a light amber hue, small head. Very tame amber. Very little malt presence. Sour aftertaste. Boring.

Pretty looking amber, ah amber so pretty, almost all of them. Both of mine. Lots of clarity, looks professionally centrifuged and shit. Aroma was sweet, oktoberfest style malts.
Taste ventures a little down the red road more than amber in an ideal beer world, but its got some lively carbonation to help overcome that. Decent for those who like a mild toasting of their caramel malts.
