Leinenkugel's Classic Amber is more yellow than amber, maybe slightly orange with a thin head. aggressive carbonation in the body, but the head dies quickly.

smells of indistinguishable grainy malt, maybe a hint of hops.

in the taste department, it's a little light. some toasty (maybe a little caramel?) malt is present,. hop taste and bitterness is low, it's fairly uninteresting, but passable.

slightly dry, watery, highly carbonated.

drinkability is average. i'm not a big fan of this brewery's other beers, but this is something i could enjoy every once in a while

Best by August 27, 2012:

In a pint glass (also had in a pilsener, only change was a two finger head in the pilsener):

A: golden yellow body gave a small one finger white fizzy head. Minimal lacing was left with some rings around the glass. Fast rising carbonation was seen.

S: basicly hops and malts, nothing special and nothing that stood out as amazing.

T: pretty much the same.

M: light to medium with moderate carbonation felt

O: this is a mediocre beer. Nothing stood out to say I need to have this again immediately.
