Pours out of the can a opaque golden yellow with an inch or so of head with minor lacing. Smells a little like cleaning supplies, thankfully it doesn't taste like them. It's lemon to be sure, but it really doesn't taste like any IPA I've ever had. Kind of tastes like a Summer Shandy off shoot.

By far, one of the strangest, and not in a good way, beers I’ve ever had. Bought in their variety packs, I will not be getting this again. I’m a HUGE fan of most Leinenkugels, and love IPA’s in general, but this is SO strange I can’t even think of adjectives to describe it. Not lemony, (their Shandy is on my top 10 beers of all time) and a strange, sorta hoppy taste? Like Lemon Pledge meets Pine Sol maybe? I’m not one to post reviews but I just had to on this! PLEASE LEINENKUGELS! DO NOT CONTINUE THIS! Bring back the Sunset Wheat as a mainstay, and your Cranberry Ginger Shandy for fall/winter!

Eh, a slightly more bitter version of their famous summer shandy. Not sure if it can really be considered an IPA if all you taste is Pledge furniture spray…

Doesn’t taste like much honestly. Like a lemon seltzer IPA. Carbonation mirrors that of a seltzer. Slight lemon flavor with a minimal IPAish beer taste, you can taste the slight bitterness and particular hops from an IPA but it’s very weak. The smell is the same as the flavor. This is incredibly light. This would be very nice on a boat during the summer. Not one of my favorites, I wanted a beer.

12 ounce can, SEP 27 21 stamped on the bottom of the can. Not quite sure if it's a best by or canned on date. Thanks to my buddy Denis for this one, he gave me the can a few days ago so I didn't have a chance to try this one earlier. Served in a Teku, the beer pours a hazy gold color with about an inch frothy white head. Head retention and lacing are both good. The brew smells mostly like lemonade and a bit of bready malt. Unfortunately the taste isn't as good. Starts off with a slight lemon cleaner taste, along with some bready malt, grass and sugar. Not awful tasting but not great either. Mouthfeel/body is light, it's easy enough to drink even with the weird taste. I mean I'd drink it again if someone gave me one, but I certainly wouldn't buy this. Looks nice enough but it went downhill from there. Probably rated this one higher than I should have because it was free.

I don't know what it is with Leinenkugel beers but I swear that every single beer they brew has this really watered down feel to it. This beer however is better than most of them.

Better than I expected but not great. A great lawn mowing beer but no ipa. I would rather drink this than any “seltzer” however. If you are tempted to get a seltzer for light summer quencher, get this instead!

Lemon Haze pours a bright yellow color, with a little lacing head. Fake lemon aroma, but strong. Flavor is very sweet, sugary and candy like, lots of fake lemons. Fizzy body but it works.
