This brew is a gold color that is deeper than an adjunct but has that extreme clarity to it. A pillowy white head forms that's actually pretty tall off the bat and dissipates somewhat quickly, though not horribly, and does leaves some fairly respectable lacing.
There's really not a whole lot going on in the nose other than a decently clean grains presence and a touch of sulfur over extremely light notes of herbal hops and dry malts.
The taste really isn't bad; this is a simple, light, clean lager. It almost seems like a cousin to the AAL, certainly a step up but going for the light, crisp clean lager thing they go for. There's a light grassy and sulfur note alongside earthy and herbal hops balanced by light dry and crackery malts. Grains are ever present underlying.
The body is extremely light, exceedingly thin but shy of watery, and crisp all the way through. It's not quite as clean as one would expect, going a little slick.

Review from notes
Pours into pint glass a hazy golden color with little presence of head to speak of but decent carbonation.
Smells of biscuit like barley malts with a slight scent of hops in the mix as well.
Taste/Mouthfeel a hoppy front end that mellows to a lager finish with a slight hop after taste.
Overall, I was intrigued by how this beer seemed to be a nice cross between a lager & a pale ale. A good session beer in a crowded field if Leinenkugels were priced to compete w/Molson & Labatt instead of Sierra Nevada I'd nab it more often. Decent stuff
