12 oz twist-off bottle. It says MAY0211, not sure what that means.
It pours an orangeish gold with a foamy white head that doesn't leave much lacing.
It smells pretty basic. It has paper, table sugar, and grain in the aroma. I'm not getting any hops, it is sweet and grainy.
The flavor is typical American pale lager. It is sweet adn buttery biscuity with a tiny kiss of hops. It isn't a great lager at all, but not bad for the style.
Leinenkugel is getting there, but I think they just use way too many cheap ingredients and still produce too large of batches, especially on these small run ones.

Review from notes
Pours into pint glass a hazy golden color with little presence of head to speak of but decent carbonation.
Smells of biscuit like barley malts with a slight scent of hops in the mix as well.
Taste/Mouthfeel a hoppy front end that mellows to a lager finish with a slight hop after taste.
Overall, I was intrigued by how this beer seemed to be a nice cross between a lager & a pale ale. A good session beer in a crowded field if Leinenkugels were priced to compete w/Molson & Labatt instead of Sierra Nevada I'd nab it more often. Decent stuff
