The small is the first thing I noticed right after pouring. Smells like a mix between Vanilla Coke and very malty. Not a trace of vanilla cold. But as it warms the vanilla becomes more present. Not a great beer. I would say it’s very dull and boring. But not terrible.

A surprisingly solid offering form Leinenkugel...

Right out of the bottle I was a bit perplexed by what i saw - a beer that had the look of a Coca-Cola, right down to the quickly dissipating head. I could not discern any type of scent at all - completely bland, though as it warmed I did get hints of vanilla. Mouthfeel was definitely carbonated, light-bodied and a tad watery across my tongue. I did enjoy the taste - solidly porter with notes of vanilla and a hint of cinnamon. I really did like this for that aspect. Overall, this was more than okay and I will enjoy the sixer I have.

Very faint smell. Good looking beer overall, and has a good mouthful with average carbonation, balanced taste, and a slight refereshing aftertaste.

Good offering from Leine's, and maybe their best offering next to the Bavarian Dunkel. Recommended.

Leinenkugel's Snowdrift Vanilla Porter
Eye: pitch black with red highlights
Nose: vanilla, chocolate, roasty malts
Tongue: chocolate, vanilla, coffee
Moulth: feels thin, slightly carbonated
Overall: I think it is pretty good for a mass produced dark beer. It has that feel to it though because it tastes thinner, lighter, but it has the vanilla and chocolate, so it's not a bad beer.

Pours a red/brown with an off white head (looks more like a brown ale). Smells of chocolate, roasted malts, and light vanilla. Tastes of roasted malts, chocolate, light coffee, vanilla, and nuts. Medium-light body with medium carbonation. Overall it’s ok but nothing special. It’s better than I thought it would be though. Kind of a cross between a porter and a brown ale.

I don't get the good reviews on this. It was very disappointing. Has a nice color, but who cares. It's so thin for a porter, and has nearly no aroma and very little taste. I get very little vanilla, and it's a little bitter for a porter. I took a shot bc I had a leinenkugel vanilla porter on tap that I'd liked, but this bottle has nothing to it too like.
