12oz. Bottle
Sep 2015

Pours a nice clean/clear golden yellow color, nice carbonation, with a nice fizzy white head that disapates quickly, not much sticky lacing left behind. The nose is malty, slightly yeasty, little citrus note. The taste is nice, malty, yeasty, slightly sweet, slightly citrusy. Medium body. Overall a nice thirst quencher, but would not buy again.

Light and crisp with a hint of bready malt. A nice summer session beer. Be sure to enjoy this after typing one hundred and fifty characters on a hot day.

12 oz bottle poured in a kolsch style cylinder. Good stankiness for this beer, I enjoy refreshing kolsch style ales.

Poured a clear yellow with a tight white head with decent retention and lacing. The smell was some very faint hops. The taste was slightly sweet with barely noticeable bitterness. Good carbonation level.

I was drawn to the beer by the "Kolsch-style with Rye" on the label. I didn't find too much Kolsch-like character and I expected the rye to provide a more bread like contribution to the flavor that wasn't there.

Nevertheless, this is a decent enough beer and goes down quite well on a hot summer day after working outside for several hours.

Clear yellow colored beer with a small white colored head.

Smells mildly of noble hops and not much else. Slightly sweet smelling.

Starts out mildly sweet with a little scorched sugar taste. Stays sweet with no real bitterness. And that's it.

Mouthfeel is OK.

Overall, not a great beer but it is drinkable.

On draft, served in a shaker pint glass. Hazy yellow color, not much head. Not a good flavor or aroma, a bit stale tasting. Grainy, corn flavors, but a bit oxidized tasting.

Light straw, look, little aroma. Tastes sweet with a little spice. Light body and good carb. More flavorful than an American lager for after mowing.

Love the taste, love the name, nice hops balance and a food refreshing feel (especially when you get off the river!)
