This beer is not candy or mother’s milk. It is not brewed by gypsies or aliens, nor does it contain any zombie dirt. This is a double IPA brewed with Citra Hops. It’s sticky, hoppy and delicious. Simply drink it and enjoy it. Don’t hoard this beer, Citra Ass Down and drink it now.

Pours a gold color with a minimal white head that lasts quite a while. No discernable aroma. Taste is sweet and tangy with only a slight hoppy bitterness at the end.

A beautiful bright vibrant pour with a thick white fluffy head; though it doesn't linger, the lacing sticks...
Not much aroma, some light biscuit malt and sweet orange marmalade.
Taste highlights the Citra: sweet orange marmalade, mango and pineapple, with some subtle saltiness that provides nice base/balance. While it presents as a WCIPA, it's surprisingly refined in bitterness; def expected, i.e., hoped for, more hop bite.
Mouthfeel is nice, as a DIPA has a little more body and a syrupy sweetness on the finish. Lip-smacking Citra hop goodness in a glass!

From a 16oz can dated 10/01/25 (? date is obscured on the curve of the can bottom) into a weizen glass.

Pours a hazy, but not opaque, orange with a solid finger of white head. Really nice lacing and retention.

Some pretty strong aromas of sweet oranges, tangerines and grapefruit.

Flavor is actually pretty bitter, or at least a lot more bitter than I was expecting. Pine and grapefruit with some sweet orange marmalade.

Pretty full-bodied but soft mouthfeel. Easy drinking for the abv. Low carbonation. Bitter aftertaste.

This was a pleasant surprise. A juicy beer with more complexity than just juice.

16oz can, date stamp looks like 10/01/25?
L: slightly hazed golden body; tall & frothy ivory head leaves chunks of foam on the glass
S: pithy grapefruit, light caramel, pine
T: mango, pine, grapefruit zest, caramelized grain
F: fuller body, resinous yet quite smooth, bitter finish with some residual caramel sweetness
O: I’ve always wanted to try this one. Finally grabbed a single while in Kentucky

She sure was expensive. Lovely golden color, slightly hazy, and very effervescent. The taste immediately gives you orange and hops, then there’s a tobacco note as you swallow. Very crisp and easy to drink. The blend of flavors can be kind of astringent. Overall I wouldn’t give it away.

Golden orange color

Very clean feel with hops on the back end

Balanced taste, crisp and refreshing. Doesn’t give a citrus taste despite the name

Good beer, would have again, but don’t need to actively seek out. Two hearted vibe in balance, but a little smoother.

We’re at a crossroads. A crossroads of some juice beer and… maybe a West Coast? Ok… no. Only crossroads. This is straight up weird ass funk. Like, the dude wanted to meet the devil so he could play the guitar, but the devil didn’t show up - so now he only plays with himself.

Wow. I’m out.

Poured from a 16 ounce can into a Shaker pint glass, "best by" date "04/12/24".

APPEARANCE: pours a cloudy, hazy, dark gold color with one-finger off-white head that quickly dissipated until a thin, broken layer of small bubbles remained, there is heavy lacing on the glass, lighter carbonation.

SMELL: bread and pineapple citrus, not complex but pleasant to the nose.

TASTE: the taste follows the nose, initially sweet pineapple citrus and bread then pine resin and it really lingers in a good way, the 8.2% alcohol is imperceptible.

PALATE: full body with lighter carbonation and somewhat creamy.

OVERALL: this is a decent DIPA, I enjoyed it and would recommend to anyone who enjoys the style.

Look - deep gold, bubbly white head
Smell - citrusy, malty, pine resin, dank
Taste - citrusy, piney resin, honey sweetness
Feel - medium body, moderate carbonation, pine resinous finish
Overall - Don't let Citra in the name fool ya. Although there's an initial citrusy element, this brew leans toward the hoppy, piney resin and dank side that lingers quite nicely. Beautiful dank smell. Has a west coast feel with a solid malt backbone. Very tasty. This is a Badass brew so I paired her up with Balls to the Wall by Accept. You should too. And like it says on the can, Citra Ass Down and drink it now. Enjoy!

Pint can, fridge cold, poured into a can glass. Super fresh! Canned 1/3/23. Rich frothy head rises atop a golden orange brew, traces of which follow all the way through the drink.
Aroma is distinctly Citra hops with a sweetness surrounding it.
Taste follows - I love a single hop unhazy DIPA, Citra being my fave. No disappointments here. Straight up Hop Juice, balanced with a nice malty sweetness. No alcohol bite. Finishes pleasant, with a pronounced lingering chewiness.
Feel is medium carbonation with a slightly oily remnant on the palate.
Overall, a most excellent single hop double IPA worth having another of. And another.
