L-Mid-amber. Decent head, recedes and clears.
S- Some malts, fresh and clean.
T- Light but with a pleasant roundedness. None of the over-richness that was anticipated. Some hops come through later.
F- Would go well with spicy food.
O- After a few mouth-fulls you register the 6% strength. A session beer for a night out in a tropical climate [example: Tokyo in summer!]

Added now/later from older mislaid notes. Likely drunk in Tokyo.
Brewed: Oct 2014, BB June 2015

February 20th, 2015 - Super dry, not so Premium, the Asahi Super Dry Premium comes dressed in a superbly dapper can, but is more of the same of the gaggle of Japanese pale lagers. Dry, corny and slightly sweet with just a bit more body to it, it's probably good fare for an izakaya, but feels tepid and naked by itself.

Poured from 12oz can with June 2016 canning date into standard pint glass.

L: Clear straw yellow with half finger width white head that slowly recedes into a lingering layer.

S: Grainy malt, almost imperceptible citrus hop at the finish.

T: Grainy malt again, probably wheat or rice, some bitterness from the hops and super dry finish.

F: Light bodied, dry mouthfeel.

O: Meh.
