Presentation: 11.2 oz. bottle into a standard pint glass.

A-Pours a pinkish color. Pours with ~2 fingers of slightly pink head, which fades slowly into a thin cap.

S- Slightly grainy sweetness, with a moderate, slightly tart raspberry.

T- Moderately sweet, slightly green, raspberry notes. Bitterness minimal. Not off-putting by any means, but it feels more in line with an Italian soda than anything "beery."

M- Moderately high carbonation with a light feel.

D- Good. Very easy to drink, even if not very compelling overall. Could easily drink multiples if you were so inclined.

Future outlook: Again, more like a fruity Italian soda to me than anything...pleasant enough, but no reason to buy again.

Appearance- This beer is light pink. I know, it is really light pink.

Smell- It smells more like a juice drink than a beer.

Taste- It taste like a raspberry soda with a beer aftertaste.

Mouthfeel - Thin and light.

Drinkability- I could see this beer being popular maybe in clubs but it just doesn't feel like beer to me.

Had this on tap at the Lucky Baldwins 10th Annual Belgian fest on 2/15/09.

Pours a hazy orange color with some pink(just a little). Looks like a wit mixed with a kriek. Good lacing and retention.

The aroma is overpowered by the sweet cherry with a little maltiness poking through. Nothing else.

Flavor is of red koolaid and sweet cherries. Some tartness is present but no bitterness. Too much, over the top.

Body is of medium thickness. Enjoyable but tastes too much like candy. Would make for a great beer for people who like mixed drinks.

Appearance is light peach/pink in color with a thick fluffy head with fair lace. Smell of mainly the fruit with grain and light hop. Taste again is mainly the tart fruit flavor with the grain with a good balance of hops. Mouthfeel is light with good carbonation. I'm not much into fruit beers, but this is not so bad.

The appearance was a cloudy light yellow with a bright pink suspension toward the top of the glass

The smell is fruity-raspberry overtones dominate the smell while a yeast and barley smell hides in the background

A clean raspberry taste is dominant but it does not hide the wheat taste in the background

I found this beer to be very drinkable. It is a nice pale beer that does not have an overpowering taste and is easy to drink

Pours a whitish-red color with a thin-head and ample carbonation. Interesting package and looks more like a wine cooler.

Aroma is full of raspberries in the nose followed by a touch of wheat. Definitely smells the part.

Taste is a bit too sweet and tart for my liking. Lots of raspberry goodness though if you like that thing. Definitely puts the "fruit flavoring" in fruit beers.

Not much of the beer in this. Feels like a witbier underneath but hard to tell with the sweetness.

Too sweet to even be beer. Worth a shot though because if anyone dares to question your manhood (or womanhood) for drinking this, they're probably full of shit.

Pours a hazy, deep pink color with a light pink, almost white head. In the aroma, sweet to sour raspberries. In the taste, sweet raspberry, a small sourness, kind of like Cherokee Red Pop. A small bite and light bodied mouthfeel, with a semi dry, raspberry sour aftertaste. Nice small sour with dry raspberries all the way though.

Two things pop out at me right away. The label says "The fruity pink beer" and it contains "aspartame". So, a fruity pink diet beer?

I tried this 'beer' on May 29, 2009 at "Smokeless Joe's" in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The beer poured a reddish pink colour with a thin white head that stuck around. The aroma was sour raspberries and grainy malt. The mouthfeel was medium bodied and highly carbonated. The flavour was sugary sweet. It tasted very good, but not beer-like. More like what Canadians call a 'Cooler'

This beer came in the most adorable little can. It poured a cloudy pink-tinged copper with a small head that didn't last long. The smell is raspberry, but not super artificial raspberry. That's about it, nothing that would indicate it's a beer. The taste is very sweet. It's like a raspberry soda. Only thing slightly beery about it is perhaps a tiny hint of hops on the back end. The mouthfeel is slightly thick with a moderate amount of carbonation. I'm kind of digging it, but it's not really what I expect out of a beer. If the idea of a raspberry-flavored malt beverage turns your crank, you might want look into it.

Thanks to AKBelgianBeast for this one. Yeah it came as a package for the loser of the LNBA FF, and I lost.

Poured into a mini hefe tasting glass.
A- Cloudy yellow with a hint of pink thrown into the beer, this gives the beer a feminine glow. The head is very white and lasts for a while. Also as far as a can appearance if your a guy and your buying this I bet you don't mind getting your prostate examined by some guy with large....fingers.

S- I can smell the raspberry smell from a distance of two feet. There is something effervescent about it too.

T- I can seriously say that I lost some man points with this one. This just tastes fake, in that flavored condom kinda way. (I'll let that last sentence simmer in your mind for a while.) There is almost a nutrasweet after taste to this one too.

M- This has a thick, yet thin feeling that I'm sure appeals to a variety of jail inmates.

D- The only way to take this beer is in the can.

Comes in two-tone pink can with lime-green female silhouette. Totally euro-disco looking. Poured into 12oz glass. Poured a cloudy orange-amber color with a white head of big, loose bubbles. Head dissipated very quickly, with no lacing. A very sweet, candyish aroma. Tastes more like a berry flavored 7-UP than a beer. Soda-pop body and drinkability. I would maybe drink this on a hot day out by the river, but would rather have a better Wit. Try it once just to add it to your list, but don't search it out.

Isn't the can of Wittekerke Rosé awesome? You'd think the slender 8.4 ounce can was some kind of energy drink that donates a portion of the proceeds to breast cancer. Instead, it is a raspberry infused witbier. Did I mention the raspberry was artifical flavor? On to the beer:

Well, the color of the beer has a raspberry infused orange color to it, hazy. The head color has a pink tint to it, and it has surprisingly good head retntion and forms good patchy lace. It kind of smells like raspberries, and it's not bad at all. Maybe I was wrong about this beer...

....or maybe not. It tastes like lightly flavored cough syrup to me, which isn't the worst taste in the world, but it sure doesn't taste like beer. I can also taste a bit of iron. Come to think of it, it does kind of taste like a raspberry energy drink. It feels sticky in the mouth like one, and as a beer I prefer it didn't.

Well...I managed to get all 8.4 ounces down of this 4.3% ABV drink. It sure isn't as fun to drink as Wittekerke w/o all the added shit, but what other alcoholic beverage out there can you get for less than Red Bull, yet who's label looks like an energy drink? This must be good for drinking in public places and driving.

pours up an attractive pinkish-orange color with a bubbly pink head. aroma is of candy raspberries, sort of medicinal, cotton candy. not much depth. taste is tart! woo! i do love me some sour stuff! taste of sour raspberry candy. medium to light bodied. medium faded to low carbo. it probably would be a better brew if it wasn't so sticky tasting. kinda tastes like an energy drink.

cool looking can though.

This beer was consumed at Brixies in Brookfield Il. A female friend of mine went to order a bottle of Duchesse de Bourgogne, found out they were out, and mistakenly let the bartender convince her that this beer was similar in taste. When she couldn't drink much of it, I decided to drink it as I rarely get the chance to review a beer I wouldn't order for myself and thought it would be a good exercise in taste.

It was poured from the bottle into a pretty cool frosted glass Wittekerke glass; possibly the best thing about this beer. It pours an almost unnatural rosy/pink with a bright white head.

The smell is of completely sweet raspberries, the smell is right on the border between whether its just backsweetened natural fruit or a sickly artificial flavoring but in my mind the artificial fruit is winning.

I know the side of the bottle was labeled something to the effect of 'Adult Malt Beverage' but I didn't expect to be tasting something to the effect of Raspberry Smirnoff Ice. It is very similar to a raspberry iced tea and doesn't have any beer-like qualities. I've had plenty of fruit flavored beer and even the most artificial flavored ones I could at least find the beer behind the flavoring, not in this one.

To me the beer wasn't that carbonated and added to my allusion to raspberry iced tea, it was also as thin as water but at the same time it was as drinkable as it too.

Now that I'm at home and can look up the beer I can see by the marketing on the website who this beer is targeted to, 8-12 year old European girls. They achieve their goal of a beverage for prepubescent teens but has as much of a beer merit as any Smirnoff Ice flavor. The beer glass was pretty cool though.

A- Agressively poured from the can to yield a 3/4" stark-white head, which slowly receded to a sustained haze layer and some nice lacing. The body was highly carbonated and sedimented pink-orange color. Little red chunks were observed riding the bubble trains. These red chunks appeared to be somewhat artificial, like food coloring that didn't dissolve into solution. The carbonation also seemed a bit artificial- more abundant than I would anticipate naturally if it were naturally carbonated.

S- Smells of cloyingly sweet synthesized raspberry and artificially tart citric aromas. It smells extactly like a sweet-tart candy... more like a soft drink than beer.

T- Tastes tart up-front, and a faint artificial sweetness plays second fiddle. Some bland synthesized raspberry flavor comes-in midway, and there is no finish to speak-of; once swallowed, all flavor immediately disappears from the palate.

M- Thin to medium body. Overatenuated and overcarbonated. Not impressive... but there is SOME viscocity here nonetheless. A mark below average may be generous on my part.

D- I did not enjoy this at all. I found it to be all-around underwhelming and in some ways offensive. On the other hand, my wife thoroughly enjoyied this, and finished my glass.

I bought this because I got a laugh out of the pink can. Kind of surprised at the highly negative reviews on here, but I also love raspberry.

A neat looking beer actually. A rosy pink body with two and a half fingers of light pink head. Some retention, settles to a solid looking ring. Leaves some spotty lacing on the glass. Has some sediment floating around that looks like some remnants of raspberry puree.

Smell is all raspberry, sweet and tart.

Taste is almost all raspberry too. I see some reviews that suggest that it is a fake or artificial flavor, but having grown up eating wild raspberries it tastes like legitimate, natural berries to me. Albeit, the raspberry is a little overdone here. Mostly tart with some sweet notes. Very, very faint peppery yeast and malt in the background. Interesting beer. Or maybe beer-like drink. Reminds me a lot of a lambic.

Light bodied without a ton of carbonation. The tartness from the raspberries makes this one a little bit puckering.

This beer is light and not at all filling which is nice, but the fact that it is completely unbalanced hurts it a little bit.

A: Poured from a bottle to a pint glass. Had a dull reddish color and a thick, cloudy consistency. There was an inch and a half of foamy, long-lasting head. Good lacing. One of the best-looking fruit/vegetable beers I've seen.

S: A very sharp, fragrant smell of raspberries and malt. Very aromatic.

T: Tasted of raspberries - a lot of raspberries, with a malty finish. While not exactly the most complex of flavors, this one delivers what it promises. Extremely fruity and tart.

M: A generally well-carbonated beer with a slick finish. Light-bodied.

D: A surprisingly likable and drinkable beer.

Wittekerke Rose

Pours a light cloudy pink color, light pink foam. Aromas of berries and a small portion of wheat malt. In the taste, berry sweetness, sugar, cola like carbonation and a little yeast. Alcoholic wheat berry soda. Mouthfeel is light bodied with spritzy carbonation. Overall, a fruit beer that is geared towards female consumption.

Labeled Wittekerke Framboise, but this has to be the infamous fruity pink. I was saddened to learn that this has a portion of Petrus Aged Pale blended into this beer. I can't believe it. It's a dirty pink color. This beer should be called aspartame 101. The aroma is vaguely of a bottom-shelf raspberry liqueur. Sweetener and fizzy diet raspberry tea taste. Eddie Vedder said it best when he cried out in the song Black: WHY?

Bottle thanks to Bobby, labeled as Wittekerke Framboise.

A: The beer pours a dark pink/light red color with a pinkish tinted head.

S: A very sweet aroma with lots of raspberry to it. It's got a raspberry soda type of aroma to it with a little bit of straw and grass. Some raspberry syrup and a light wheat note.

T: Intensely sweet and somewhat sugary. There is a hint of tartness to it, perhaps a little bit of citrus peel to it. A light grass flavor and tons of raspberry and raspberry soda type flavors.

M: Light to medium bodied with medium carbonation.

O: A little sweet and soda-like for my tastes.

Pours a pinkish orange with about a finger of whitish head. Plenty of beading and carbonation is evident, resulting in plenty of head retention though not much lacing. The aroma is flagrantly artificial with a bittersweet herbal twang and light essence of raspberry. This is not a brew for the type of people who actually smell beer. Moderately sweet yet awkwardly bitter in a way that is not hoppy, like somebody put a packet of Sweet N Low in it. Syrupy raspberry-like flavor that does not quite taste like raspberries, very artificial. Flavor disappoints low expectations. Light in body but with an acceptably creamy carbonation. I purchased this out of sheer novelty and it was nothing more than that. Avoid.
