Brought by a guest to a poker game I host. Don't care for the style but drank my share. Poured dark red with an ivory head. The aroma is sweet cherries and not much else, the taste is sour cherries and oak. Felt crisp, but overall was not an enjoyable experience. Maybe if sour beers are your thing.

Poured into a tulip, the appearance was a dark ruddy red to almost brown color with a quickly dissipating finger’s worth of white foamy head. Concaves nicely around the sides to bubbles. Mild messy lace. The aroma starts off with a nice sweet and tart black and red cherries. Sourness is quite tame. Malts seem sour and sweet in this one. The flavor leans sweet initially and then opens up into some sour and tart cherry. Sweet cherry fruity aftertaste roping the finish in with a little bit of stickiness. On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a nice sessionability about it. Low carbonation yields an ample amount of balance between the stickiness and soft tartness. Overall, almost a straight up fruit beer, perhaps with a hell of a lot of tart to sweet cherries rolling all about. Definitely would be a stellar go to for Summer evening dessert.

11.2 oz bottle- Pours very dark red to brown with a small light tan head. Aroma is cherries in syrup, maraschino cherries, some oak, some malt. The taste is like a brown ale, brewed with maraschino cherries, sweet, dessert, a touch of oak. Overly simplistic, and was hoping for so much more, it's not bad, just on the sweet side.

Deep copper, reddish, clear. Off-white, 1 finger not persisting head. Leaving good lacing.
Very high ester aroma and it is cherry, cherry and cherry. Some wood and very low malty aroma.
Moderate-high sweet, juicy fruity sweet, some light tartness. Some sherry woody flavors. Bit of chocolate malt flavor.
Medium body, soft carbonation, creamy, medium sweet finish, very warm alcohol, very smooth.

Alcohol is well covered. Flavor is full of cherry wine. Smooth, but I would like it more sour, and more maltiness.
