This is a simple but well-rounded, enjoyable lager.
Copper, it has a medium off-white head steadil shrinking to foamy ring and wisps.
Aroma is toasted white bread, hint of cheese, oranges, pine bark.
Taste is spicy peppery-piney hop bitterness, toasty barley (slightly caramelised), bitterness gentle but firm and lingering with caramelly toasty sweetness. The feel is nice and engaging.

Red, darker in color, 1/2" head that goes away quickly. Aroma was macro irish red like Killians, those malts.
Taste, bitterness lower, malt more pronounced. Bitterness is there, but doesn't have good interplay with the malt flavors. Enough substance to give it color, but not enough flavor to make it in the top half of HW beers.

My good ole Kllians loving buddy mentioned in posts from years past elected to stop by for a chat today and as usual he had a six pack of some generic wal-mart wanna be craft swill of which he gave me a bottle because he swears by it.
Thanks buddy, sure it'll be the next Sucks.
Look - Pours a light amber with no head whatsoever and leaves no lacing. The carbonation bubble are very prevelant even in the slight murk.
Smell - Light toasty malts and a bit of grainyness. Not a wholr lot going on here.
Taste -.Admittedly, it was quite smooth though as most other HW products, lacking in the department. It follows the nose but the toast amps up a tad and the grains take the back seat. Sweet and a bit tart.
Feel - Medium bodied and heavily carbonated.
Overall - You get what you pay for.

Nice lingering sweetness, not overly hopped. Some citrus.

Appearance: 1.5” off white head recedes and leaves light lacing. Moderate carbonation bubbles stream through the mostly clear amber/copper brew.
Aroma: fairly mild – bready malts are most prominent, some caramel, and a little hop spice. Mouthfeel: fairly light bodied and watery, with a somewhat dry finish.
Flavor: whole wheat bread, mild citrus (orange peel), caramel, and a slight saltine cracker flavor. Overall: Not a bad beer, nothing too exciting.

Sampled last night on 3/22/14, Bottled chilled down to 36 degrees F in my beer cooler and poured into a handled glass stein.
Pours a nice pretty deep amber in color with a very thin off-white head. Some spotty lacing was seen when sipped but not a lot. The aroma of caramel malts hits you right up front first with some other grains. The taste is about the same with the caramel malt sweetness and fades into some hops and then has a dry and slightly bitter finish.
