Aroma of banana, cloves, malt, yeasty banana bread. Taste was more subdued then the aroma but banana and cloves came out first. Not sweet, almost a little dry but overall a very good beer

Poured from a bottle into a tulip glass. Beautiful fluffy white head with great lacing atop a slightly cloudy brownish body. Pleasant clove smell. Taste of clove, cinnamon, some banana. Very nice beer!

The pour into an 8 oz. glass was cloudy and it settled into a dark blonde - not so appetizing in appearance. But the smell was nice, almost like a smoked beer smell. The taste was fruity, and complex enough to taste different things in different sips. Ugly packaging, but it's what I usually expect from German beers - along with high quality. Very good.

Builds a two-inch, dense, creamy, off-white head that settles to one inch for the duration. The murky amber beer rates an SRM of 8-9. A coating of fine lace is deposited on the inside of a Spaten dimpled mug.

Rich caramel is pronounced over banana bread and light clovers. A sweet, yeasty dough is punctuated by faint molasses.

The flavor starts out with wheat bread and caramel, and is quite yeasty. Banana and clover may as well be absent in this simple flavor profile. Warmth presents a hint of gingerbread. The finish is long and tanic.

A medium body with modest carbonation and woolly texture. Alcohol is absent, while the finish is dry, leaving a cotton sensation.

While this is a fine drinking beer, its modest character makes it more well suited as a background beverage for casual conversation or, better yet, a boisterous evening.

This is one of the strangest German hefeweizens that I had thus far. It taste more like a dunkelweizen gone wrong. This is terrible folks. Only an asinine fool would like this beer. Cheers! D (65-69) cheers!

Basic Hefeweizen, nothing impressive. It does not in any way compete with weihestephaner.

Review: 0,5l bottle of Schneider Weisse Tap 7: ABV: 5.4% vol

Crappy uninspiring logo, golden thingy on the bottle, but it is an iconic brand in the beer world so I guess it works!

“Mein Original“ is being brewed following the same recipe used in the original back in 1872, “TAP7“ is its modern name.

Massive amount of carbonation, wow, too much as it all came bubbling out like a fountain. What remained in the glass was a dark orange coloured beer with a white head that was pretty small all things considering, and died a death later. Also a bit cloudy. That’s what a top bottle conditioned beer does for ya!

Overall looks horrible.

Got that typical weissbier smell, was a strong smell, of the fruits, the cloves, the grains, barely and wheat.

Taste was not bad with the first mouthful, full bodied and a nice clean and pleasant crispy taste.

Very nice, I like it, ok it looks shit but bloody hell it aint bad to taste. Quaffable and very tasty beer.

Typical weiss taste with the wheat, the malts, cloves and the fruits, but on a light level, and with a nice and smooth after taste. Very tasty and quite refreshing.

The banana is quite strong in this beer I think, with some light creamy taste, to give a good balanced flavour.

Very good, I like it, recommended. So easy to drink. Can sup it and enjoy. Or devour it, up to yourself!

A - Relaxed pour from a 16oz bottle into a Weizen glass. Quickly dispersing 1 finger head. Moderate to high carbonation. Color is reminiscent of a dark cream soda.

S - Dialed back hefe notes of the typical banana and clove variety. Hints of bubble gum.

T - Very, very subtle banana notes. Bread and biscuit flavors come through, as well as a slight sourness. Light spice.

M - Amazingly clean.

D - Absolutely fantastic. This one is an absolute winner. It's not overly sweet like some hefes. In fact, it is an amazingly refreshing beer. It is so refreshing that I can see having this one during a hot summer day or at a barbeque. It's actually quite shocking in that I've never heard of this beer among fellow connoisseurs or other beer enthusiasts. In fact, I've never heard of this beer at all. Regardless, don't let that stop you. Do yourself a favor and skip the typical hefe standbys and stuff this one in the cart. I'm betting you won't regret it. I certainly didn't.

Poured from a brown 16.9 oz. bottle. Has a hazy bronze color with a 1 inch head. Smell is strong of banana, some cloves. Taste is banana, bready malts, light cloves, highly refreshing. Feels medium/full bodied in the mouth and overall is a quality beer worth trying.
