A: Rich cidery amber/golden orange, with a small tan head at first. The heads fade quickly to pretty much nothing, making this look more than ever like cider.

S: Wheat, some understated fruit notes, a bit of spice.

T/M: Ripe and fruity up front, followed by some peppery spices and a crisp wheat finish. Moderate body, not very carbonated.

O: A pretty good wheat beer, but I suspect this bottle may not be as fresh as it should be. Still fairly tasty, if rather simple.

Poured into a Samuel Adams perfect pint glass. Pours hazy brownish orange with a thick white head that dissipates slowly. There is some visible carbonation in the beer. Poured into a Samuel Adams perfect pint glass. Pours hazy brownish orange with a thick white head that dissipates slowly. There is some visible carbonation in the beer. It smells like a hefeweizen and tastes like a hefeweizen. There's some nice banana and clove up front the nice malt backbone from the wheat and barley. There's a nice spicy character to this as well. There isn't as much of a bubblegum note as you would get in some hefeweizens, but it is very faint here. The body is light to medium with moderate carbonation. The beer is smooth and very drinkable. This is a very good beer.

Pours a nice big off-white head - it doesnt last that long though. It's cloudy. Even before you pour in the yeasty end of the bottle. When you pour in that yeast after swirling a bit, it's like an atomic depth charge.
The colour is dark coppery amber.

After you’ve poured in the yeasty end of the bottle, the smell is malty-grain, yeasty, very ripe fruit, cloves and spicey bannana. This is a beer I almost wish I could drink through my nose.
I want to inhale that smell, deeply, over and over.

Mouthfeel - like that head, it's perfect. Velvety. Smooth, creamy even - very drinkable. Strong but fine carbonation keeps it tingling.

Taste - malty sweet to fruity bready spicey. Somehow at the end of the swallow it's almost dry - not sweet anyways. Bannana and yeast in the smell and the taste; bananna in the after-taste. Burps bubblegum. There is a recurring high note that's almost metallic that I'm unsure about - I'll buy a crate and let you know at the end of it what I think about it ;-)

B.B. 06.04.13 (April). Filled on 06.08.12 (August)

EDIT/ my avatar shows the waist of a weizen glass of Tap7 against the light - just after I poured in the yeast. Yummy ;-)
