From cervezasespeciales. In Bavaria hefe glass. Playing Bad End. Hefe notes with plenty fresh grassy hops notes that reminds their incredible tap 5. Nearly as good but a bit softer

Poured from a bottle into a tall glass. Nice clear yellow with light head and lacing. Very fragrant initially with lemon, grass and earth. Taste is sweet and bright. I think the bottle I had was a bit old. Would love to have it fresh!

(16.9 oz bottle, code 16 343... purchased warm last week... poured into a standard weizen glass)

L: light-medium amber-colored liquid with a mild haze... foam builds high and shows a rolling, pillowy contour during collapse

S: mild-moderately spicy phenols, a rather potent aroma similar to flowery bath soap and black pepper, with very subtle hints of clove, cinnamon, and bubble gum, neither of the three standing out much more dominantly within the group... delicate pan-citrus fruitiness at its core... malt is also delicate and smells of golden crust of fresh-baked sandwich rolls

T: thread of mildly yeasty and phenolic bitterness up front, enveloped by a truly rich, dense, doughy malt, with a slight hint of toasted grain... the aftertaste has essence of earthy yeast and green grass highlights, fairly dry with a lingering herbal bitterness

F: lovely, soft, pillowy... light-medium bodied, surely leaning toward med (even before yeast slug added)... dry finish, marginally clipped... latent carbonation, not very lively across tongue... all in all, hearty but not filling

O: again and again I will side with this one over the Schneider classic/original... even with a lil age on this, it still has a satisfying flavor and is damn drinkable... seems like most of my homebrew hefes end up tasting similar to this (not quite as good, mind you)

Pours an amber colored, cloudy beer with a big spongy white head.

Aromas feature ripe banana with a hint of spices among wet grass and wheat. While the banana aroma is quite prominent, it never turns out one dimensional due to the refreshing hop infusion, lending wet grass and lemon peel.

Thirst quenching, sweet, dry, easy drinking and extremely well balanced beer.

Tastes of leaf wrapped young banana from the beginning, soothed by an aqueous softness and very smooth yeastiness. Turns a little hoppier once its flavor foundation got established, with pepper, anise and nutmeg as for the yeast spices. Finishes clean, soft and strawy, with a slightly more earthen banana appearance and its initial aqueous note.

Very nice Weisse, soft and smooth with very enjoyable edges.

L: Pours a hazy orange color with a gigantic top of creamy white head that disolves in a slow pace and sticky lacings on the glass.

A: Sweet aroma off banana, wheat, orange peels, peppers, cloves and some tropical notes as well.

T: Flavours dances around a lot off different profiles, both sweet, sour and bitter inn a good balance. Sweet and fruity flavour at the start, while it gets more herbal and spicy inn the middle and finishes off with a long dry hoppy bitterness inn the aftertaste. The cloves do tend to dominate a little to much inn the flavours, and is a little bit to hoppy for it,s style, but all inn all it have a nice flavour.

M: medium bodied with a lively carbonation. mouthfeel is creamy and smooth.

O: all inn all a nice and enjoyable hefeweizen from a brewery that for the most deliver good beers.

16.9 oz. Bottle
Bottle Fermented

Poured into a Squatters true pint glass a cloudy dark yellow color, very nice carbonation, with a very nice thick/creamy two-finger white head, which leaves some nice sticky lacing behind. The nose is malty, yeasty, with some bananas, coriander, wheat, grass. The taste is very nice, malty, yeasty, nice touch of banans, coriander, wheaty/grassy. Medium body, ABV hidden very well. Overall, a very tasty brew, true to style.
