A friend left this at my house and, to say the least, I was not expecting much from it. I'm not much for green bottle beers and I'm generally not much of a fan of euro lagers (at least in the state they arrive in the U.S. in). Poured into a Sam Adams glass.

I have to say I was surprised to look it up here and see just how poorly it was rated. Tasted reasonable, if not particularly interesting to me. No skunk/sulfur taste thankfully and had some light breadiness to the nose and palate with no off putting aftertaste. Not nearly as boozy as I was expecting either. It certainly isn't something I'd seek out, but I thought it tasted better than the Stellas another friend of mine is always drinking.

It definitely didn't get better as it warmed though, that's for sure.

Poured into shaker from can, 1 finger cream colored head, minimal retention and lacing. Piss yellow in the glass, nice carbonation. Smells of grassy hops, and grain. A little sweet on the front end, followed by some grassy/earthy hops, followed by more sweetness and very little bitterness. Alcohol well hidden. This will do in a pinch, in a land (India) where good beer is hard to find, so counted myself lucky rolling up on this puppy. Drank my fair share of these when I was in Denmark so nothing new here.

Sparkling gold with a large foamy off-white head.

Smell is corn, grass, sweet and spicy hops that are herbal and not unlike house cleaner without being too offensive. There is a slight bit of skunk and a surprising kick of booze.

Taste is a very sweet corn start, a bready but unexpectedly boozy, rubbing alcohol middle, with a slightly bitter herbal lemongrass and chive finish.

Crisp with a little more body than expected, but still light.

This is your basic BMC corn lager, with a Danish paint job.

This is basically malt liquor with a good malt profile and some hops to finish. I think it's very good for its style, with some interesting tastes and flavors. It's about drinking beer and getting a buzz! Not at all bad. I'd do it again.

From Labirratorium. In Teku glass. Watching Independence Day Resurgence. More alcoholic sweet than the normal version makes it a more enjoyable, less dull brew. Nothing spectacular either.

Pours a tall head of 3 fingers, with a slightly hazy, 20% opaque pale blonde colored body. Lace is actually decent, leaves hills and wisps behind.

From the bottle I get aromas of skunked and spoiled grains, cleaning chemicals, grass, hay, and manure. From the glass with agitation I'm getting Saaz, herbs, lemongrass, dry grass and ripe straw. Comes off as a cross between a Mexican lager and a Czech pilsner. Once the head disappears it smells like chemicals.

Flavor is like a watered down malt liquor to start...but wait, the finish brings forth some grassy bread that redeems it just a touch. However this only happens on the first sip. The rest of it just tastes like the start - grassy, stale hops, with hints of garbage, super glue, and spoiled wort.

Feel is pasty, chalky, relentlessly sticking to the palate and not letting go. I want it to leave but it just keeps hanging around. Heavily carbonated.

Overall, This should be labeled as a Malt Liquor. As a malt liquor, it's not half bad. Unfortunately, it costs 3x as much. Do not be ripped off by this beer. This is for white collar doctors who don't know jack shit about beer and like the idea of paying $12 for a 6 pack...but it's really terrible swill. This may even hit the drain in a minute.

From a 330ml bottle, pours a clear deep golden colour with a descent thick white head.
Aroma malt, grain not much else. (Beer smell)
Taste barely malt, grassy hops.
