One of my first reviews, so its probably not very good, but here it is anyways.
Cool bottle! Dark amber color, not much head.
smells... like a pilsner?
Has the white blonde taste, but has a tone of a beligium style. Imediate pilsner-esque, taste followed by the belgium notes. Taste ends dry with little pale ale after taste. very clean
bell curve of taste... pale ale to belgium back to pale ale.

330 ml bottle, bought in Denmark. Clear golden colour, moderate head that doesn’t last very long. Pleasant sweet aroma of banana, bubblegum, cloves and coriander, Saazer hops of course, hints of dried fruits and oak. Flavour is not that remarkable, spices and alcohol mainly, hints of nuts and oak too. Drinkable, but overpriced.

200ml on-tap at Carlsberg Brewery/Visitor Centre, Copenhagen:
Decent, obviously Carlsberg keep all the good stuff in Denmark & export their crap beer to the UK, that being said it wasn't a particularly memorable beer really. I got some nice freshness & pleasant fruits to kick things off, mainly oranges, citrus & bananas which also added some sweetness. Towards the middle there was a few earthy malts & biscuit flavours that started to come through but on the whole it wasn't anything special & it's probably not one I'd seek out again.

Poured into tulip.
Pours clear orange/copper with nice creamy 2-finger white head, moderate retention.
Smell - fruity, phenolic.
Taste - biscuity malts, spices, lollipop, peppery, well-balanced.
Medium body, good carbonation, easy drinkable and calm.

Purchased at a Maxima hypermarket in Vilnius, Lithuania.
BOTTLE: Best before: 23.05.2016. .5 litres. Has some semi-intricate glass etching of the label on the bottle, and classily has only a neck label and ribbon ring label towards the bottom of the glass.
7.10% ABV.
HEAD: Occupies ~70% of the glass, but has average characteristics, with a frothiness that doesn't cater to the style in the way that a more delicate, creamy head would. Retention is quite good - especially for the high ABV - coming in at about ~8 minutes.
BODY: Clear copper-gold of average vibrance. I see no yeast within.
It's a generic appearance for a blonde.
AROMA: Grassy Saaz hops aren't as overt as the name of the beer would suggest. Blonde malts, a brief hint of clove, vague fruit.
Aromatic intensity is below average.
If they were after a Belgian blonde, they're completely missing the yeast profile. If they're after an American blonde, they're off-base. If they're after the titular Saaz blonde, they're missing the Saaz hops.
TASTE & TEXTURE: Stale. Generic blonde malt sweetness and generic floral hops are present, but even that already underwhelming build is undermined by some unappealing artificial vanilla, and odd artificial honey sweetness.
Has no overt yeast profile.
Smooth, wet, medium-bodied, highly carbonated, and of adequate weight and thickness on the palate.
Imbalanced; too sweet.
OVERALL: I hoped for better given its current "80" rating even though it's from Carslberg, but this is just as subpar as the majority of their catalogue. The absence of grassy Saaz hop character is strange given the emphasis of Saaz in the marketing, but frankly the premise of a Saaz-hopped blonde isn't all that compelling anyway. Drinkable albeit mediocre, but the ABV is poorly hidden.
Low D (2.05) / AVERAGE

A 330ml bottle with a BB of April 2015, so it's a little out of date. Acquired a while back from a supermarket. The ingredients include glucose syrup and angelica extract (that's a new one).
A: Poured into a cervoise. A clear golden-amber colour with some faint floating sediment and light carbonation. Forms a decent head of frothy white foam that lasts for a minute or two before collapsing and disappearing.
S: Aroma of sweet malt with hints of barley sugar, fruity yeast esters, faint grain, stewed leaves and a warming whiff of booze. A touch of solvent in the background. Uninspired.
T: Tastes of sweet malt with a mild, lingering finish. Notes of barley sugar, fruity yeast esters, stewed leaves, overdone veg and a touch of harsh cardboard in the background. Quite sweet, followed by a mild bitterness and a hint of alcohol upon swallowing.
M: Mouthfeel is smooth and tingly, with soft carbonation and decent body. Could certainly be livelier. Slightly astringent, accompanied by an aftertaste of ale yeast esters, sweet malt and harsh stewed leaves/cardboard.
O: Meh - unimpressive. I'm not convinced that it's supposed to be a Belgian strong ale, in spite of the listing. Lacklustre looks, while the aroma and flavour are malty and bland. Too much booze in evidence. So-so body; needs more carbonation. The hop character claimed on the label seems to be completely absent. A dull strong ale with little going for it - forgettable stuff. No need to seek it out.

Head dies quickly leaving small amount of lacing.
Aroma is belgian yeast, apples, pears and cinnamon. Mild but spicy.
Taste is belgian yeast. Belgian tart funkiness, toffee and mild saaz bitterness.
Overall, this is an interesting Danish macro Brewer's take on a Belgian strong pale ale. Quite good but not amazing.
