Thin, tastes of an overly carbonated slightly maltier version of Budweiser.

Poured into a becher pint glass, the appearance was a ruddy light brown to amber color with a finger’s worth of white foamy head that dissipated pretty quick. Lace slides into the beer. The aroma had some sweet to roasty nuts, toast and biscuits, and grassy hops for some bitterness. The flavor tried to blend the hops to malts but mainly stays with the malts as the forerunner of the taste. Semi-dry roasty sort of nutty aftertaste which holsters the same sort of finish. On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fair sessionability about it. Good carbonation. ABV felt fine where it is. Semi-smooth on my tongue. Overall, fairly nice amber ale worthy of coming back to.

I enjoyed this brew on a recent trip to the Lake George area. I had it both on tap and in the bottle. The appearance is a rich amber, with a tall creamy head. The aroma is malty, with a firm American hop scent in back. Well balanced, and not as sweet as I expected. This is a solid, very drinkable beer. Fully in body, and enjoyable.

More of a golden orange in color than a Amber. Very little head, and what is there fades to just a skim quickly. Nose is faint and has a bit of a murky stink to it. Flavor is very hollow and is missing the real malt backbone that I look for in this style. Overall it just fell short for me.

Nearly no head. Mild chill haze to the otherwise solidly amber color.

Some earthiness to the aroma with a mild floral hop in the background.

The flavor is an improvement from the smell. There's a light sweetness that went unnoticed to the nose. The hop is also more pronounced, although the swallow and aftertaste leans to the malty side. The body is watery, but the carbonation is below expectations as well.

Poured a very light copper hue with a one and a half finger foamy white head. There was good retention and lacing.

The smell featured a fresh and vibrant citric hop and a light doughy pale malt.

The taste was upfront breezy citric hops. A light doughy malt and touch of wheat rounded out the flavor.

The mouthfeel was typical of the style. Perhaps a bit cleaner due to the inclusion of the wheat malt.

Overall a very tasty hop forward ale. Very quaffable.

Pours beautifully creating foam over a light amber brew lingering nicely to hang out and lace the glass
Nice aroma of fields of malted flowers
Taste starts bold some sour lingers watering the palate
Pleasant and interesting enough to go for another sip
Color matches name carbonation seems ok
Thinking must check out this beer at the source

Pours slightly hazed amber with a thin white head that descends to a thin lasting cover. Little lace.

The smell is of sweet grain with some caramel. Apricot and peach fruitiness with mild citrus in the back.

The taste is of sweet caramel and grain. Bready dough balanced by an apricot/peach fruitiness with a hint of citrus. Finishes on the sweet side.

Lighter side of medium bodied, it is very smooth.

Well-done and pretty unique. High drinkablilty with enough nice taste to keep it interesting. According to John (jcwattsrugger) who was good enough to bring this back to share, it was listed as an alt...Here it is listed as an APA (the website doesn't say). Oddly enough, I could see it fitting broadly into either (though the alt would clearly be an American interpretation. Regardless of style, it's a fine "session" brew!

A: Coppery-amber body with a very small off-white head.

S: Something off - metallic/minerally and maybe some wet cardboard.

T: Some sweet, fruity malt underneath, followed by a metallic hoppy bitterness. Lingering minerally bitterness; a touch earthy.

M: Fairly sharp carbonation. Body is close to medium in heft.

O: OK. Glad to support local brewers.

Notes: Bottle calls it an Amber Ale, though it's listed here as a Pale. . . .

This beer poured an amber/gold color into the glass. Minimal white head. Aroma was pleasant, fruity, with traces of American hops.

The taste had a very nice balance between the malt profile and hops. The hops were not overdone at all, if anything they were reserved for an APA. Slight grassy flavor along with citrus. Mouthfeel was medium. This is a pretty solid beer from what is a pretty solid brewpub.

Served on-tap in a tall pilsner pokal at Reel Seafood (Albany, NY).

A: Dusky brown-amber with short cap of off-white small-bubbled head with decent retention and a collar of lace at the top of the glass.

S: Aroma is subdued to say the least with some medium crystal malt caramel sweetness, pale malt graininess, and herbal, earthy hops notes.

T: The flavor is solid nothing more, delivering the middle of the road amber flavors you expect. Nice moderate caramel sweetness up front cut with herbal, lightly citrus hopping. Nice clean beer with no esters. I don't get any of the diacetyl that others have reported, although it does finish a bit sweeter than I like. Low bitterness.

M: Light-medium body with reasonably soft carbonation and not a very dry finish but not bad.

O: Pretty average run of the mill amber ale. Good not great but clean and inobtrusive.

The beer offers caramel sweetness up front, although reasonably restrained while still showing itself as an amber. Then onto herbal, grapefruit, citrus peel and the beer low bitterness and flavor in general.

Pours a light brown color with a very thin head. Hmm. I don't see much if any amber here.

Sweet malt greets the nose. Not a sign of hops anywhere. Solid, if bland.

Ditto on the flavor. Crisp and full of sweet malt. Otherwise, there isn't much else here to savor.

Finishes clean.

The second weakest beer in the Adirondack mix pack that I bought. I would suggest aiming for a true amber hue and adding some more hops. An amber ale doesn't have to be hoppy but the right touch of hops will add more drinkability (my opinion anyway).

It had a great light to it. Nice and golden view through the glass. It's aroma was very pleasant. I could smell the faint odor of the hops lightly. Surprisingly, the hop flavor was very well balanced to the thiness of the drink. One could sip the drink fluidly without being shocked with hops flavor. Personally, maybe I would have had the flavors be stronger, but the drink itself can definitely be drank by a general audience. Its light flavor allowed it to be a very drinkable beer for its flavor.
