Prost! We at Adirondack Brewery sought out to create one of the best traditional Oktoberfests in New York State. The lightly sweet, bready malt character is the perfect compliment for Weisswurst, Knackwurst, Bratwurst, Bockwurst...you get the point. Zicke zacke, zicke zacke, hoi hoi hoi!

This one pours a mostly clear light orange color, with a small head, and lots of lacing.
This one smells like honey, bready malt, citrus, and maybe pear?
There's an odd tangy almost pear flavor here, and it's not exactly welcome in this sort of style. There's not enough crisp hop flavor, but the malt flavor is not too bad - bready, lightly sweet, and rich enough, I guess.
This is light bodied, slightly tangy, and not enough crisp enough on the back end. It's pretty drinkable.
I wanted to like this one more. This brewery is a fun stop whenever you're in the Lake George area, but the beer isn't always super inspiring.

A caramel, amber and light copper, minimal head and lace that dissipates halfway through.
At first, fruity in the nose, I'm thinking apples or something harvest like. Then, mostly clean and a bit of toasted malts.
Clean taste, mostly bready. Less malt forward than other oktoberfests, with more of a hops presence and finish.
Fairly light bodied and easy to drink.
Overall, a decent brew but nothing extraordinary.
