On-tap at Good Beer, New York, NY

A: The beer is clear yellow in color with a slight amount of visible carbonation. It poured with a thin white head that died down, leaving a large patch of bubbles in the center of the glass and a collar around the edge of the glass.
S: Aromas of sweet biscuity and bready malts as well as corn are present in the nose along with hints of floral hops.
T: Like the smell, the taste has flavors of biscuity malts and corn along with hints of sweetness and a slight amount of bitterness.
M: It feels medium-bodied and a little smooth with a low to moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This beer definitely tastes like a "souped up" version of a Dortmunder /Export Lager or even a stronger version of an American Blonde Ale. Either way, it's an improvement over typical beers in these styles.

Served on-tap at Good Beer in New York, NY

A: Pours a clear medium yellow in color with light to moderate amounts of visible carbonation and some light golden yellow highlights. The beer has a quarter finger tall white head that slowly reduces to a large patch of thin film and a thin ring at the edges of the glass. Light to moderate amounts of lacing are observed.

S: Light to moderate aromas of bready and biscuit malts with some lighter notes of corn sweetness and some moderate aromas of floral hops.

T: Upfront there are light to moderate flavors of biscuit malts with some light corn sweetness. That is followed by light to moderate flavors of floral hops that impart some light amounts of bitterness which fades pretty quickly.

M: Medium bodied with light to moderate amounts of carbonation. Smooth.

O: I think that the more hopped up version of the Dortmunder style is something that I can appreciate. I found this beer to be easy to drink and interesting enough to want another.
