Dark black in appearance with a very creamy tan head. Moderate carbonation and full bodied.
The aroma was very sweet and of licorice
The taste would not disappoint for this style but surprized with a coffee front with a bitter hoppy tang.
Milk chocolate after taste.

Appearance: the beer was almost black in color with a 1 inch creamy caramel colored head.

Smell: barely any aroma with this as the description touted it was brewed with black barley, roasted barley, and chocolate malt.

Taste: this was a thin bodied version, but it did have a decent taste as some roasted malt and coffee overtones lingered into the aftertaste.

Mouthfeel: Smooth on the mouthfeel but too thin for a stout.

Drinkability: it ranks an average in taste and drinkability.

Appearance: Presents with a deep french roast coffee brown with a nice tan head and significant lacing. A magnificent looking stout.

Smell: Chocolate and a bit of nuts on the nose, but the aroma is rather light

Taste: Sweet oatmeal and bitter coffee flavors duke it out in this brew with the sweeter flavors winning the fight

Mouthfeel: Creamy mouthfeel and very little carbonation, as you would expect. Overall, the mouthfeel is a bit lighter than I would prefer in a stout.

Drinkability: A decent stout but not full bodied enough
