Poured into a Chimay Chalice, you are greeted with a wonderful chestnut/ruby body topped with a not so impressive head....a real shame for a beer of this style.

Aroma is all about the ripe dark fruits, fig, plumb with a twist of spicy apple.

Taste is strong, a real nice blending of the ripened fruit from the aroma, interlaced with a sugary base which leaves a burnt caramel sensation at the back of the tongue...a true winner in this department.

Feel is a touch watery IMO, could do with being a tad more solid. That said it is uber drinkable, and is by no means offensive.

Overall, a very very good beer, just lacks a squeek of substance and head....otherwise it would be world class.....3.6BA score is nonsense!

Amber red and filtered with a little carbonation. Topped with 3 fingers of light beige head.

Bananas, biscuit and esters, phenols and red tea.

The taste follows the nose only more intense, lots of toasted notes, light sweetness, phenols and berries. Hints of dark fruits and cherries.

Medium, slightly syrupy body, foamy, moderate carbonation.

Got this one online, drinking it in Chiang Mai, Oct 20th, 2017. Excellent brew.

L - Brown, but no idea as to the specifics. It was poured in the beer's corresponding three-eared mug, which was made of rather untranslucent clay. Not much head, though, and dissipated quickly.
S & T - breakfast bread-toast spread with some creamy butter and caramel.
F - pleasant, creamy mouthfeel

O - a cold-weather beer, that's for sure. Really roasty, bready, caramelly. Pleasant enough, but nothing super special. Just a good ol' "close your eyes and pretend you're in the middle ages in front of the hearth" kind of winter beer.

I do recommend this one.

From Hipercor. In Teku glass. Browsing the web about connecting to MSSQLServer Express. Delicious belgian sugary, but not excessive. Alcohol well hidden, easy to drink, not too much strong. Pleasant to mouth and nose.

Pours a brown/copper color with an good foamy head that lasts the duration of the beer with good lace.
Aroma of bananas??? Maybe hayloft???
Body is a lighter than expected to mask an 8.5%.
Taste of blood orange, fruit cake, sour cherries, and booze. Not bad.... Grew on me through the pour.
A sweet and boozy/ medicine like after taste.
Not bad. Not great, but better than most local beers, so will have again, for sure.

It looks very nice, a nice dark red-brown collor with a beige head. Aroma of candy sugar and plums, with a vinous touch. Taste of plums, malts and coffee, again with a vinous accent. Not much in the aftertaste. Very decent beer.

Strong head, beige.
The aroma of sweet, malty, roasted plum, raspberry and a minimum of alcohol.
The taste is slightly bitter, like aroma feel prunes, fried. After heating the bitterness is stronger, as well as alcohol. This is a minus, because it destroys the pleasure of tasting. At the end it's just alcohol, too bad.
